Today’s theme: great constants playing their games poorly starting with that wipeout on Five Price Tags. Yeouch!

I have to say it’s interesting that the TV up for bids ahead of game 3 showed a playing of Shopping Spree only for the next game to be Shopping Spree. Don’t know that I loved that even if it was a cute idea.

Shopping Spree was set up as a gimme. The game table looked as expensive as it was and that bike looked as cheap as it was. I’m not sure what was going through the contestant’s mind picking the bike.

Balance was an obvious loss. You can’t go to Europe for $6000 anymore. Honestly when you saw it had to be under $10k I figured it was 5000+4000. Felt like it was set up to be won.

I was genuinely both surprised and hopeful after hearing her go with "True" first.

Three 8s in the price of the Money Game Mirage today. I would not have won. (Anyone want to see that price in Lucky $even? :-D)

The silver lining of the 5PT wipeout was that they had time to air some of the fun stuff that happens at tapings that they usually have to edit out.

That Money Game playing was, well, interesting. Lacosha first tried to find the first two numbers, then jumped to the last two numbers, then back to the first two, then back to the last two. But while unorthodox, there's nothing strategically wrong with playing like that and she did win the car!

Today’s Episode was pre-empted due to local coverage of a House Explosion in the Pittsburgh Area. How can I watch it. 2 People died in the Explosion. So Sad.

If you have Paramount Plus, you can watch it there.  Not sure about the main site; if so I guess it's for a limited time.

Thanks for the heads-up, BTW.  I have YouTube Television so it records automatically.  When I'm not watching live I usually get the local feed.  I haven't gotten around to watching today's show.  That's not a big deal, the tragedy in the area is a big deal.  Totally devastating.

On a semi-related note, KIRO-TV preempted everything after the 2nd SCSD due to coverage of a funeral procession of a Washington State Patrol officer.

And those baby wipes under $3 in Time Is Money-- I thought baby wipes would be far more expensive than that.

For a second there, I thought we were going to get wipeouts for both Five Price Tags and Money Game. When was the last wipeout for Money Game?
