I liked seeing Kent dial in the zero first in Safe Crackers. Something different. :-)

I probably would have been "fooled" by the baking powder in Grand Game as well.

Fantastic lucky wins in Rat Race and Dice Game!

Oh I definitely did the same mistake Matthew did in Grand Game.   I too picked the baking powder.

I was for sure thinking that the whole milk yogurt was OVER $5.50.   I was sure about the Hi Chew Fruit Chews being over $5.50.   That was an EVIL setup.

It was interesting to see Kent dial the 0 first in Safe Crackers, too bad he didn't win though.

Could Pick a Number have been any easier?

Tough Grand Game, I was definitely not thinking the candy would be over $5.50. I thought the yogurt was going to be the other product to avoid.

Great bid by Linda in the Showcase, she nearly ended up with the car anyway with a DSW!

third that, grated maybe just just looks smaller on screen. I know baking products have increased in price very rapidly but I guess I should have listen to the size of the thing. (I am imagining six ounces) there was some showcase pass, 'there is no room'. good game over all. have a nice Easter for all that celebrate.

When he lost on the baking poder, I had to check my kitchen cabinet seeing the price because I could have sworn I had the exact same brand and size, and it turns out I do.  I know it wasn't $6.99 around here.  It's $4.29 at two of the grocers in my area of Ohio (Giant Eagle and the local Acme Fresh Market chain).  Guess that's why it's important for people to remember if they are on the show that the grocery prices are those in LA!

At least it didn't cost him $1000 down to nil, like many wrong guesses do on Grand Game (glad he got $100 out of it).

$100 isn't as great as if I was in a time 40 years ago, but $100 is not zero.  It's been a minute (over a decade) since someone bailed in Grand Game, so glad that he got some consolation to go with his prize from One Bid.  If I'm in his spot, I might have ended up with $10.  I guess I might have to stay away from that baking powder brand!

Not a pleasant GG this time around, but so much great moments in the show that more than makes up for it.  IMO, a very good to great episode from start to finish.  Two cars & two $1 hits in the SCSD prior to a nice sub-$1000 SC outcome certainly helped.

Despite never working (or going to school) on Good Friday, I wasn't able to participate during the show, which explains a tardy reply here

I don't normally pay much attention to trip descriptions, but the Cancun one in Pick A Number fascinated me for some reason (possibly because of the bizarre phrase "a private tour of flamingos" and the randomly expensive price).

Looking up this resort's ocean view rooms, they have different room prices depending on which week is booked, so how is that meant to be priced?   Even then, I'm struggling to get the price of the trip up to near $19k.

Neverthless, they must have wanted it won as this seemed like the easiest possible setup for such an expensive trip, given that only one option was not a repeating digit.  In fact, it was probably an easier setup than if the contestant had to try and price the second digit instead.
