I enjoyed James's palpable sense of "What are they going to do this time?" as the fourth One Bid began.

James pretty much was a good sport, especially at the beginning.

As mentioned elsewhere, this AFD special wasn't as over the top as in past years, but I enjoyed it myself.  Part of that was due to the fact that we didn't have one in 2023.  The one 2 years ago was so great to where it would have been difficult to out-do that Season 50 AFD episode.

Nevertheless, things were simple enough, from the ping pongs to the small prizes for 5 Price Tags.  The Devon cutout was tremendous, but IMO, that would've worked better during the first One Bid.

Didn't think that second showcase was going to be that much, but still a win off of a 5-digit SC difference, while her opponent didn't even go over (no surprise there either)

Wouldn't it make sense to have Half's box be #1 today? I mean they sure tried to get a win, but lol at that obvious detail not happening.

Really tired of these specials (mostly primetime) where the only hard setup is the last one, and for a car at that.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I wonder if they had a joke planned out for James bringing down an actual heavy Box 3 during 1/2 Off.

I’d like to see more wacky setups like the one in Vend-O-Price.

At last, the long-awaited crossover between The Price Is Right and Double Dare has arrived.

So when was the last time the show used a small prize that was less than $10? I can't think of anything like that since at least the early 1990s. (I think there was a lawn sprinkler that was $9 in the 1980s, and the (infamous) Crocodile Dentist game I think was $8 or $9 when offered in the early 1990s.)

One other unusual thing about the Vend-O-Price setup: it's a rare case where they use a brand name for a grocery item rather than the generic ("luncheon meat").

So when was the last time the show used a small prize that was less than $10?

They had $9 fuzzy dice on April Fools, 2022.

So when was the last time the show used a small prize that was less than $10?

When it comes to just 1/2 Off Playings , they used a $8 Farkle game for a 6/25/18 playing.
