Has it been confirmed that Drew doesn’t know which key is the Master Key? Because ideally, the Master Key should never be the first key tried.

Also, we got a DSW! It’s been a while since the last one.

Why ideally? I personally like it. It's a big surprise if the key is master on the first because you're expecting it second just like you stated here.

Unless something has changed in the last ten years, there is a way for Drew to know which key is the master key.

If the contestant is holding both the car key and the master key, then the master key is the first key that should be used. Of course, we have no way of knowing whether that was the case in this episode.

Agreed. There's no reason for regular viewers to get on their toes for the reveal of the first key unless they know that it's a possibility that it's the Master Key.

IMO it's the car key that should never be revealed first. Master Key first is much more exciting than "You won a car! Now let's try to win those headphones..."
Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

The number of DSWs that have coincided with total eclipses has got to be pretty small.

in terms of the eclipse showcase I would not recommend viewing the eclipse through a sailboat. I remember attempting to see this portion on live after seeing that discord but  it turns out it cbs did not work with the signal we had. I did not watch the whole key incident because I literally turned on to see this showcase at four in the morning. (after getting ready to go to bed coming home very late)
