Great show today. Drew and the audience seemed especially spirited.

Cover Up: What on earth was Julie thinking putting a 1 for the second number? The only cars that cheap are the Mirage and Versa. An Impreza is not a cheap car. The audience knew and Drew knew it was all over at that point. I loved the "To Be or Not To Be" theme on the board today.

Danger Price: Can’t play it any better than that. Those photo booths come in so many configurations the sussing out the prices can get nasty. Wasn’t expecting this one to only be $1400 but it still felt like the correct final choice.

Plinko: If you’re only going to get 3 chips, a $20k haul is not a bad way for things to go! I don’t get to watch every day so I’m sure I’ve missed this…but when did they start playing Dig We Must after a $10k slot hit? I can’t say I love it since it seems to slow down the pace of the game.

Side by Side: Is it just me or have we been seeing this game a lot recently? That grill set was very obviously not $9000+…very easy win.

That’s Too Much: That car was high $20ks, not low $30ks. Knew this was going to be a loss as soon as I saw the game (I own a bias: I strongly dislike TTM and have since the Barker days…so its hard for me to get enthused about it)

Bullseye: I thought the audience was going to riot to get Diego to pick the tuna…and by golly got him the win.

Showcases: Julie’s was deceptively expensive and Diego’s was deceptively cheap. Julie got so lucky.

This started last season , to be exact , 10/5/22 was the 1st aired show with Dig being played when the center slot is hit during Plinko.

For me it feels odd hearing Dig We Must in Plinko.  It's not a big deal with what seems like an attempt to make a big note off of a big hit in the show's most popular game.  IMO, it feels a little strange when it's hit early or at the beginning of the game, and then the contestant finishes the game, with the final chip landing in $0.

I'm not a fan of it at all; as mentioned, it affects the pace of play, and it game worked forever without it.  However, that's just a super small portion of TPIR, and it's not something I've lose sleep over.  Can't control it, and what is important is the outcome.  $21,000 was tremendous, and I can't help wondering how much better things could've been with all 5 chips to work with!

I don't mind it; in fact, I kinda like it. It reinforces that it's a big moment for the show's most popular(?) game. The part that peeves me is that it's always so oversweetened with audience cheers that I can't properly hear it. For ages I thought it was a wild variation of the "Dig" theme--as if it was a "sound-alike" instead of the actual thing. Turns out, it just a minor variation from the version played at Wheel wins.

I wonder if anyone has a copy of it in the clear for actual comparisons.
