Contestant Disqualification....
« on: January 30, 2008, 11:42:54 AM »
I know on a couple instances if a contestant is DQ'd because of working for a CBS affiliate, etc, it's mentioned at the end of the show. I've only seen this happen when someone was called onto stage and they play a game. Have they or do you think they ever would mention something if a contestant got to contestants row but not on stage? Since they get a parting gift, would they mention it do you think? For example "The 8th person called down today was found to be inelagible and forfiets all gifts", something along those lines?

Yes, that would still happen.  They are still a contestant whether or not they get up on stage.  They have to be eligible just to get called down in the first place.  By not getting an "X" over there number is saying that are eligible to play the game, should they be chosen.  If they are found ineligible and they didn't make it on stage, they would lose thier consolation prizes.
