Tough day for me playing today's show at home.

Intro: Drew brought along his son. How Cute!

EAZY AZ 1 2 3(Seasme Street Game): I had it as luggage, flatware and treadmill.

POCKET ¢HANGE(Couch Raid): I pegged the Jeep at $18,590.

PLINKO: The pocket dictionary caught me off guard.

SWITCH?(Hardest Part Of Being A Model): Left those prices alone, which negates the hardest part of being a model.

DICE GAME: EVIL!!!! Looked like :clipboard: didn't want this game won today.

HI-LO: I would have lost since I pegged the udder cream to the HI row.

Showcases
Diet plans disguised as a :frms: - $25,000 (6,010)
:frbs: - $35,000

Karina Acevedo Award(tie today): Precious and Marcia

Was it just me or were there a substantial number of edits in today's show?

Intro: That was nice of Drew to bring out his godson to meet everybody.

Connor's Blocks Game: That was easy.  Roger really didn't want to keep that cheap crap sitting around, did he?  :D

PC: A good win.  Great reveal by Drew.

PL!NKO: Ow. $1500.  Well, it's better than nothing.

SD1: $1000!  Why was the ticket plug edited out?

SWITCH? (Howie Mandel Game): I also said No Switch, although it was a tossup.

DICEY: This was VERY painful to watch.  This game really couldn't have been played much better.  However, Roger decided to pull out his Evil Six.  CAN'T STOP :clipboard:!

HI-LO: That was fairly easy.  However, the udder cream had me for a minute, but it was still easy.

SCs:  :wotc: ON SC2!  It's the West Wight Potter of Doom!  My bids:
           Motorbikes: $27500 (GARF of $6490)
:frbs: of Doom!: $26500 (OVER by $49...)

OVERALL: 4/5.  This wasn't a bad show at all.  There was lots of winning (if only Roger hadn't been so evil during Dicey!) and fun contestants.

I almost cried at the Dice Game loss. That was so sad to see. Ugh.

How many $1,000 winners have we had on the Wheel this season? Are we on pace to set some kind of record for $1,000 winners?

Easy As 1-2-3: I don't know why David "Uh oh." He did fine. Fine enough to win all 3.

Pocket Change: Great win by a fellow Canuck getting that $2.00 to win the car.

Plinko: Unless Precious was nervous she didn't seemed too thrilled when Plinko came along. In any event she wound up with $1,500.

Switch?: I would've switched them and be wrong there.

Dice Game: With the way Erich rolled those dice it seemed that nothing could go wrong. Until  :clipboard: thought otherwise. Damn you Roger!  :oldevil:

IUFB #6: I wanted Antonio out of contestant's row. But when he bid $50 I knew it was not going to happen. Oh why Antonio?! Why?!

Hi-Lo: When the Polygrip was $4.99 I got worried. All of that was gone when the last item the udder cream was only $3.88. Nice win.

Showcases: When Kathylane bid $53,000 I had a feeling she would automatically go over. Had David bid $30,000 his difference would have been much closer. But once again the audience done him in even though he was the big winner today.

I thought it was very cute to see Drew walk out with his godson in the opening of the show.

I don't think I have seen someone ever knock the prize cards off the props like David has.  I was kind of laughing to see Gwendolyn hold the flatware card in place so that he couldn't knock it down.  Casual viewers probably had a revelation as to how the cards stick to the props, by using velcro.

Also, is this the record for the longest playing of "Clowning Around" in the 11 years Eazy Az 1 2 3 has been around?

I liked how Drew joked with Marc about that the amounts used in Pocket ¢hange was American money.  I also loved his "Crazy Rachel" bit in the game; he built up the reveal of the $2.00 envelope very well.

I wonder why they went to commercial without airing the ticket plug.

The jib cam keeps spoiling props, I caught a glimpse of the tennis ball backdrop for Rachel as the camera was looking for Frank to come on down.

That was an interesting way to do the reveal in Switch?, and it is a nice change of pace from the usual "Is s/he right?"

It really stinks that the third number in the price of the Dodge Caliber was a six.  It was depressing to see Erich lose after he had all the other numbers guaranteed.  It was kind of funny for Drew to do the fake reveal.  Even though that's Bob's trademark, it doesn't hurt for Drew to do it occasionally.  The last time I can recall before today was during the final reveal in Triple Play that aired about a month or two ago.

I laughed at what Drew did to the Poli Grip strips when he was going to reveal the price of the hand soap.

I also laughed at when Frank answered "No" to Drew's asking if he wanted to give a shout-out.

Has "Rocket In My Pocket" ever been played in the showcase?  It seems like it's only played for IUFBs or pricing game prizes.  Also, I found it a bit bizarre to hear the vamp "Run 'n Gun" for the trip to Monte Carlo.

David had me in hysterics when he said 30, 20, and 15 loud like he was going to make a final decision on his bid, and then he changed his mind.

I like the way Drew showed Kathylane why the audience booed her for her outrageous bid on her showcase.

It was awesome to see Drew get into one of the motorcycles with David at the close of the show.

Block Game: I would have gotten it also.

American Money: The price of the car would have went up to .75 for me.

Over-played Japanese Game: The Camera got me also.

"Don't Try This at Home" Game: I would have switched.

Evil Dice:  :clipboard:       =          EVIL!

Cheap or Expensive Game: I thought he was done when the strips were 4.99

SC: Rule Number 1: Never bid $53,000 on a showcase

Show Grade: 4/5 (Stupid bids in OB and SC, but otherwise good)

COMMENTS ON TPIR 1/30/08:

1.  SHOW INTRO:  It was nice of Drew to bring out his godson, Connor.

2.  POCKET CHANGE:  This was a great win today.  If you get that $2.00 card, you're pretty much a shoo-in to win yourself a car.

3.  DICE GAME:  Although Erick losing the Dodge Caliber SE on the 6 when he said lower than 5 was just plain bad luck, I seem to agree that  :clipboard: caused this loss.

4.  IUFB #6:  What was Antonio thinking when he bid $50 on the Toshiba Satellite U305 Laptop Computer?  Always pay attention to the item you're bidding on.

5.  HI-LO:  For a second there I thought Frank had lost when the $4.99 on the Super Poligrip Strips turned up as the lowest price in the "HI" row.

6.  SHOWCASE:  David's bidding style had both Drew and myself choked up.  As for the bids, Kathylane's $53,000 bid on her  :frbs: amounts to a MAJOR  :wotc:.  David's bid, however, seemed reasonable.

4.  (One-Bid) #6:  What was Antonio thinking when he bid $50 on the Toshiba Satellite U305 Laptop Computer?
Perhaps $895? Computers do come in that price range. You don't see them often on Price, but I don't think his bid was unreasonable. It just depends on what they stick in them, and that's hard to completely cover in the few seconds of copy Rich has to read.

Drew was just flat out awesome today. His buildups are getting better and better. I loved how he built up the win in Pocket Change, even though it was lost (as painful as painful can get) his buildup was terrific, but the best of all was in Hi-Lo, skipping over the lotion and then remarking how it all came down to "udder cream." As far as the showcases go 1) What was Kathylane thinking? 2) Thankfully David was indecisive-if he'd gone with $36k plus as he started to we'd have had a double over bid, and 3) I honestly thought Drew was gonna start crying as hard as he was laughing with David's flip-flopping over what to bid. If that'd been Bob, he'd have gotten very impatient, but Drew was a great sport about it.

2.  POCKET CHANGE:  This was a great win today.  If you get that $2.00 card, you're pretty much a shoo-in to win yourself a car.
If a contestant missed each of the numbers the maximum number of times (10), they would only have the car up to $2.50, so the contestant would just have to completely tank on what numbers they picked off the board.

Sleazy:  David destroyed not one but two placards... LOL!

One-Bid #2:  STONER ALERT!

Crazy Rachel's Car Lot:  Great acting job by Drew in revealing the $2.00 card!

One-Bid #3:  Fireball Hottie #29--Precious!  :P  And a SCORE!

Craps:  NOOOOOOOO!  I thought Erich had that car in the bag.  Three perfect rolls, the only way he could lose was for the middle number to be a 6... and the middle number was a 6!  Drew did a great false reveal, though.

Hi-Lo:  I got worried when the Poli-Grip was revealed to be only $4.99.  I thought the tub of udder cream would be about $6.

SC #1:  No, David, you should've stuck with $30,000.

SC #2:  $53,000?!  That is a certified :wotc:

My showcase bids:
Motorcycles--$30,307
Boat--$26,607
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

He was the last bidder...$50 is the same thing as $1 in that situation.  Would you consider $1 to be a bad bid there?  (Hint:  It's not.)
