I hate to complain-but the lineup today was just flat out awful. Pushy and Bargain Bar back to back, Card Game and Buck as the two car games. One of the worst pricing game lineups I believe we've seen in a while. The show itself was good, the pricing game lineup just left a bit to be desired today in my opinion.

OB1: CLANGER!

Push the Blocks to China Game: That was easy.  3909 was the only price that looked right.

Ezekiel (back in 1852!) Game: I also said the table.  Why do Dell computers seem to vary in price so much?

CARDY: I knew this was lost as soon as she chose to hold the ace.  I would have used the ace right away to make my bid 15500.

SD1: $1000!

PLUNKO: Ow.  I loved how Aaron sang his choices on the SPs.

PTB: Ow.  The GPs were cake, too.

FLIPPY: I said to flip only.  I would have lost.  Good win.

SCs: Look out! It's the West Wight Potter of Doom!  Why, Roger, must you ruin a perfectly good FRATS with a WWP?  :D My bids:
          Snowmobile: $15500 (diff. 3730)
          FRB...err...Boat of Doom: 28270 (OVER...)

OVERALL: 3/5.  Drew is getting MUCH better, and these more recent shows are proof.  Only two games won, but there were also some painful losses.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

PUSHOVER(TO KAZAKHSTAN :D ): :clipboard: obviously wanted this game won. 3909 was the only choice.

(Jebediah)BARKER'S BARGAIN BAR: I picked the computer right off the bat(and would have been booed to heck by the peanut gallery).

CARD GAME(Of Doom): As soon as Barbara picked the $1000 card, I knew she was toast. Not that I would have done much better either($17,000 was my limit).

Contestant #7: Minnesota Represent!!!

PLINKO(Or should I say PLUNKED!!): I missed on two of the small prizes.

PASS THE BUCK(Dollar Ante): If I played it on stage, I would have won the car by picking 1.

FLIP FLOP(John Kerry/Mitt Romney Game): I would have flipped only and lost. But at least Kenneth won.

SHOWCASES:

:frss: - $15,000(Same as Barbara)(4,230)
Maharishi Mahesh Rachel/ :frbs: - $21,000(5,874)-minor garf

Karina Acevedo Award:Betsy(by a big margin). Bonus Question: who does Betsy look like a dead ringer for?

Lucky $even Index: 4.5
2015-16 Big One Tracker: 65(3 PRIMETIME & 2 WIPEOUTS)
2016-17 Big One Tracker: 60
2017-18 Big One Tracker: 11

Took the words right out of my mouth, Rob. Today's line-up was well below average.

Wow! When was the last time we had two consecutive OVERs in Card Game?!

PushOver: Easy pickings.

BBB: Easy pickings wasted!

Card Game: C(heap) with only standard equipment.

SD1: Chalk up another $1k...

Pl!nko!: Despite singing, Aaron gets robbed on his last chip. Also, as unorthodox as the DOB has been this season, I highly doubt we'll ever see Plinko 6th.

Pass $1: Nothing special here. This is my least favorite car game...

Flip Flop: It was obviously a flop, though $4598 & $5498 both looked good.

SD2: Kenneth almost pulled off an excellent puny spin, but was off in either direction. He should have spun a little harder 2nd spin for 95.

SC: Rarely do we see two trips and a boat, but the low-priced one to Yosemite + the WWP made the price around average regardless. Betsy messed up her chance and gave Barbara a win with a garf...

Today really had a "taking care of business" mood, as in, nothing special, it happened, move on. For those who overslept, this isn't a must-see. ;)

EDIT: I have to agree with rob79 - that's probably where that meh-mood came from. Plinko should have been switched with Bargain Bar at the very least.

In my book, CARD GAME needs to be treated like 3 STRIKES & (to a degree) TRIPLE PLAY & DICE GAME. This needs to be played for cars valued at $20,000 and beyond. It was obvious the powers that be did NOT want this game won today.

Wow! When was the last time we had two consecutive OVERs in Card Game?!

That I'll have to look up later. However, let's deal with those Aces. It used to be quite rare for a contestant to hold the Ace until they were ready to use it. This season, Aces have been held five times, including today. Record when holding: 3-2.

Push Over: Either it was $2139 or $3909. I went with $3909 along with Jessica. We both win.

Barker's Bargain Bar: I would've picked the computer.

Card Game: Bad move by Barbara to hold on to the ace. Roger didn't want this game to be won.

Plinko: Call me a wimp but I didn't feel comfortable of seeing and hearing Aaron singing his guesses. As for the SPs I would get the third one wrong.

Pass The Buck: Those GPs were a breeze. Getting $3K wasn't bad. Much better than getting another lose everything.

Flip Flop: I would've just flopped and lose there. Great job by Kenneth to flip-flop his way to victory.

SCSD #2: I wanted Aaron to win.

Showcases: Barbara's bid was pretty ok compared to Betsy's bid whose showcase was a bit more off.

Pushy: Would have won also

Bar: I said the table also

Cardy: I would have stopped at 15000

Over-played japenese game: I thought the small items part was harder than usual

Boring dollar game: Like always, easy grocery item part

Flippy: He was lucky that he won, as anything could have been the right choice

SC: I knew that Barbara won after the other contestant bidded $19000

Show grade: 2/5 (I really have never liked the PG they chose today)

I laughed at Barbara's delayed reaction when Drew told her she won her way up on stage.  Also, I got a kick out of how nervous she was when Drew was describing Card Game.

Roger has been using pretty cheap cars for the last few playings of Card Game, which makes for some really tricky playings.  I wonder why Barbara elected to continue playing after her friend in the audience told her to stop drawing after $15,300.  I guess she was so nervous, and that the audience was telling her to keep going, that she just kept drawing.

Today's SP portion of Plinko is arguably one of the most interesting ones ever in the game's history.  I really laughed and enjoyed at how Aaron sang his guesses; it's a darn shame he won only $2,000.

"Linda, look, the Goodson-Todman mark, and you're covered with it.  People are going to stand on you when they spin the wheel."

It's great that Kenneth opted to flip flop, despite some boos from the audience.  Also, I liked how he went with what appeared to be his gut instinct when making his decision.

I really am amazed that the second showcase fetched in the mid-$20,000 range.  That trip to Tahiti must be pretty cheap.

Pushy:  Easy.  $3,909 was the only price that looked reasonable.

Ezekiel Barker Game:  Tough choice.  Neither one looked all that expensive.

Card:  Base-model Caliber, so it definitely wasn't gonna be more than $16,000.  I can't believe that this is the third OVER in Card Game this season.  There were only two OVERs in the last three seasons total.

One-Bid #5:  WHOO close-up of the G-T asterisks!

SC #2:  I find it ironic that Rachel portrayed a spiritualist similar to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on an episode that aired the day after said spiritualist passed away.  That bid barely covers the boat.  :gotc:

My showcase bids:
Random room/snowmobile--$17,307
Trips/boat--$30,207

Result:  WHAT?!  How cheap was that Tahiti trip, Roger?!

Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Push Over - This wasn't too tough.
Bargain Bar - This was tough. I figured it was the computer, but neither prize looked like it was at too much of a discount.
Card Game - I thought this was going to be in the low 15's.
Plinko - That candy dispenser thingyjig looked quite a bit more expensive than it actually was. Maybe not quite $60, but certainly more than $33.
Pass the Buck - Not really hard at all today. Admittedly the Udder Cream looks more expensive than it actually is, but it's been on the show quite a bit lately so it wouldn't have tripped me up.
Flip Flop - I would only have flipped here.
Showcases - I was out to sea (pun intended) on the :frbs:.

The Dob has been pretty penny-pinching when it comes to Card Game lately. Yes, the game was played for a cheap vehicle, but that's the strategy Dob seems to be using. People think trucks are pricey so they go higher. I, for one, along with Fieldsy and a number of others, weren't taken off guard.  ;-)

Overall, it was an okay episode. I agree, the lineup was kind of blah, but the episode had its moments...

...oh, and I still hate Dells on TPiR, and today's BBB playing reinforces that thought.  :-P

Push Over: I also guessed $3909 along with Jessica....we both won.

Bargain Bar: This was pretty tricky today---I said computer, Elk says table.  I won, Elk loses.

Card Game: Yeah that was a bad move by Barbara to hold on to the ace till later....Roger put another cheap car into this game which means possible loss.  Yep, Barbara went over with her bid allright.

SCSD 1: Barbara gets $1,000 at the wheel!

Plinko: I liked Aarons voice---the first and third SPs were HARD!!!!  Unfortunately, Aaron could only get $2,000.

Pass the Buck: $3,000 is nothing to slouch at for Betsy.

Flip Flop: I lost---I said flop.  Kenneth flip flops and wins!

Showcases: Betsy was a bit more off today with her bid....Barbara redeems herself!
