A lot of bad & good. The bad being a lot of stupid bids, and the SCs. I'll highlight the most important:

Holey: ...Peanut Gallery knew Udderly Smooth and the Jelly Beans??? That's supposed to be, like, impossible. :P In any case I'm sure she was glad to have an easy putt that didn't require too many nerves. Drew still hasn't sunk an inspiration putt on air!

Secret: Lucky...

Cover: That wasn't a very DOBish price at all, I had it figured out. To the average contestant, though, I would see why -95 and -75 look better than -25.

SD2: Wow, a TON of digging! I think this is 2nd most money in one showdown daytime, with one occurence of two double dollars a few years ago.

SCs: I smelled :gotc: on SC1, but I didn't expect SC2 to top $20k. Chris still escapes, though, and she...was dejected. Well, she said $2850 at first! I knew she had no idea where to price a big :frts: ...

B+ for Holey and the quickly-heating-up-again wheel today.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

The second Showcase Showdown was nothing short of awesome. Heather barely sends it to OT, then wins $11K... beautiful. I love it!

SD2 took me by surprise, to say the least. Whenever I see double dollar winners, I was expecting the winner to get no more money, but qualify for the showcase.

There was a Drew Drop today. Yay!

And the Showcases were a on top of a today.

One-Bid #1:  Trip cue for a spa?

Checky:  Looks like new artwork for Mexico.  That sure was an expensive trip, though.  I thought $2,500 was a great amount for the check.

Hole:  Yay!  Mini-Golf Game! :P Louise agreed me on the order of the six products.  Roger thought he could fool somebody with the expensive box of jellybeans, but the audience knew better.  It didn't matter that Louise didn't know how to golf.  She got the $500 and the tap-in.

One-Bid #3:  Where was Tamiko going with that bike?  Wherever it was, it was enough to get Rich to crack up. :oldlol:

SCSD #1:  That was a bad edit.

Secret:  Ugh!  The return of the IKEA kindling!  But what a lucky break for Heather!

Smother Up:  Gavazzi always says that if the fourth number has an option of either 1 or 2, it's the right number.  Once again, his theory holds true.

SCSD #2:  Wow, double $1,000 winners with a $5,000 winner and a $10,000 winner!  Stan, what the hell happened to "Dig" after Francis won his $5,000?

SC #1:  Nice rendition of Charlie Daniels' "The Devil Went Down to Georgia".  STAGE :gotc:!  The trailer alone costs more than that bid.

SC #2:  STAGE :gotc: #2!  The ugly ATV alone costs more than that bid.

My showcase bids:
Trailer--$41,207
Random room/ATV--$18,807

Result:  Since when did Paris become so cheap?
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I was not surprised that the 1983 trip cue was played for the spa because Stan has played it with non-trip prizes a couple of times already this season.

It was great that Louise was not fooled by the jelly beans, and thankfully the audience helped her get all six items placed correctly.

I don't know about you guys but I really want to see Hole in One lost one of these days.  It just seems dull for a skill game to have a winning streak like this.

They edited out the ticket plug again, the reason was most likely for the time it took to play Hole in One.

Heather was pretty lucky in Secret X today with winning only one X.  Also, I wonder why Bart didn't do the close-up of the board as the panel was coming around, like he usually does.  That was one of the cooler reveal shots he has done recently.

Yeah, Car Cue '83/The Spelling Bee cue was played!

Unbelievable, a $5000 and $10,000 win in the same Showcase Showdown!  I really wonder why Stan didn't play Dig We Must for Francis' $5000 win.

The ticket plug edit may have been for the 2nd showdown too. As for my thoughts.....

Trip cue fooled on the first one bid as well.

Was surprised to see the $500 won in Hole in One. When that $9.99 was revealed, thought she was a goner.

Maybe it's just me, but did anyone else get a little taken aback at how Drew handled the last contestant of the day coming up on stage? Seemed a little inappropriate to me that he was mentioning wanting one of the other contestants (from first four), up there with him. Plus he didn't seem to care a whole lot about the guy up there, like when he commented that he had won the gardening tools before throwing to the prize. I'm probably wrong, but that's how I perceived it.

That first showcase sure was expensive. I never would have guessed that much, thought she had gone over.

Apologies to those folks who liked the reaction caps, or have been looking for them... been quite busy lately and it takes some some time to get that all together.  For now i'm going to put it on hold... but i'm still going to chime in of course.

Was quite disappointed in Drew's enthusiasm today... seemed a little irritated the whole day.  $17,000 on the big wheel was awesome today!  Hole-in-one or two took FOREVER... knew quick games would be played after that (Double Prices).  Showcases were VERY off today, man can't remember the last time I saw a daytime bid off by $10,000 and still win.

HOTTIES: #197, Heather :-D

I 100% agree with that, she was HOT!

I thought it was interesting in the Check Game, Drew said TPIR has been on the air since the 1800s! Thanks for the history lesson Drew!
More Udderly Smooth, Hooray!

Tamiko, that was hilarious with the bike! The contestants all look so serious, and all everyone hears is Drew and Rich cracking up.

Awesome Showcase Showdown #2 today!

I only saw the second half today, but I have to agree with heelsrule1988 and Todd: My reaction to seeing Heather winning Secret X and winning $11K in a Showcase Showdown spinoff -  :-D   But as for the showcases, man, there was some MAJOR garfing there, that's for sure.

Double Prices.  It was played for a bed worth a shade under $4,000.

(A bed and $4,000... hmmm, there's a joke about Gov. Spitzer in here, but I better not say it... :-D )

Check: I had a feeling that the Mexico trip was more than $3500.

Hole: The audience's bickering pays off for once. $500 win and a car. What a win!!

IUFB #3: I thought that was Drew laughing. Maybe it was both. Funny moment.

OWP: Too bad.

Secret: Great "shot-in-the-dark" win.

Cover: I didn't expect the 2 to be the fourth digit.

Double: Nice win.

SCSD #2: A $6K and $11K win!!!! What more can you ask for?

Showcases: The 1st showcase was a hoot. Loved Rich's country-sounding impersonation. Rachel looked HOT with that wig on!!! WHOA!!! Double  :gotc:s.  Yikes!!

A 3-star show.

Drew needs to work on his price reveals, especially in the showcase.

When he read Heather's price, he starts off with a "wow" and his voice trails of..............

Instead, just get right into the price.  At least create a brief moment of suspension.  He failed to do so in that instance.

Otherwise, not a bad job by him.
