Mateo's TPiR 2008; Episode 1: THE END
« on: April 06, 2008, 04:42:45 PM »
Alright, I thought I would give these Host Your Own Shows a shot, so, here it goes. For my first show, I will only be doing a half-hour pilot. We will do 3 Pricing Games, and then I have a surprise in store after that, so you'll just have to wait :D. And then we will go on with the showcase (I will explain how to make it to the showcase when we get to that part of the show), and in the showcase, if you come within $300 of the ARP of your showcase, you will have a :dsw:, BUT, if you are within $100 of the ARP of your showcase, you will win not only both showcases, but a chance at $50,000 (which I will explain later). But other than that, it pretty much has the same rules as the Daytime Show. Now, for some stuff you need to know:

  • I will need at least 6 contestants who want to Come On Down! If you would like to, please sign up in this thread by 8:00 EST on Monday, April 7th.
  • There will be a 24 Hour time limit, that will be strictly enforced. If you know you are going to miss the deadline, please send me a PM. If you miss it once, without a PM being sent to me, you're done, and you will be replaced. If i get a PM from you, I will just have someone replace you for that round ONLY. I hate to be so strict, but this show needs to move.
  • Audience/Contestant Guidelines: One-Upping is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! :D, Just kidding, I am just saying to feel free to one-up whenever you want. Everyone can feel free to make smart comments too! Members of the audience can also feel free to give suggestions.
  • Most importantly: HAVE FUN!!!!

Our Announcer is also the founder of the show, Mateo! He is also sure to be making some smart comments. Also, don't expect state-of-the-art graphics, but they are good enough to get by.

SO COME ON DOWN!

I'll give another half hour show a shot.

And I'm assuming the show is going to start at 8 PM on Monday, since AM or PM was not stated.

Seeing as how I was the only person not called to "Come on Down!" the last time I signed up for a half-hour HYO show, I'll give this one a try as a means of redemption of the concept.  LOL.
