How Game shows will be affected by high gas prices this year

This is a post to tell you how game shows will be affected by gasoline sales. (Note: None of this is real. I'm just making it up. Some of the stuff may not even make sense either. Just try to have some fun with it.)

-On Wheel of Fortune vowels will now cost $250 for each time the vowel is on the board.

-Jeopardy has now decided if you are "in the red" by the end of the main game, that is how much you owe.

-The Lucky 7 game is now being played with 7 pennies instead of 7 dollars.

-Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune have found a way to connect the podiums to the contestant's bank account. This way Wheel won't have to use all of the show's money. You better hope you don't land on a bankrupt.

Family Feud -- Your family still plays for $20,000 in Fast Money (if you make it there), but if you win that, it comes out of the pockets of the family you beat to get there.

When one goes on "Press Your Luck", and you hit the Whammy, not only does he take your cash and prizes, but he steals your wallet and maxes out your credit cards. Ouch!

Well, we might not have to worry about this thread anymore. Some news reports say that by Thanksgiving, gas prices could go back down to $2.00 a gallon. Here's the link for proof:

Well, we might not have to worry about this thread anymore. Some news reports say that by Thanksgiving, gas prices could go back down to $2.00 a gallon.

Thank goodness; we can finally raise that show back up to $1.98!

Family Feud will offer $2,000 in Fast Money.

The Price is Right will offer $10,000 in Plinko, the center slot is worth $2,000. The only four pricing games to offer cars are Golden Road, Triple Play (2 four-digit prizes and a car), Three Strikes, and Lucky Seven. Cars will always be worth less than $20,000. Showcases will never be worth more than $25,000.

Wheel of Fortune will get rid of its bonus round.

Jeopardy will get rid of the Daily Double feature.

*Ten Chances will go from offering one 2-digit prize to eight.

*Three Strikes will go back to the old format of using all three strikes in the bag.  However, part of the current rules will stay in place, so that when a strike is drawn, it is returned to the bag.

*Spelling Bee starts to be played only for trucks.  As a result, you must now spell "TRUCK" to win.

*A $363 bottle of wine will be used in Check-Out.

* Any Number will no longer repeat the first number on the board; instead, the dollars will be eliminated from the Piggy Bank (making it two digits instead of three).

* The studio lights will now be turned off for Bonkers, forcing you to rely on the flashing lights on the prop itself to see the board/plunger.

To save wear and tear on the carpet, Rich Fields will no longer tell contestants to "Come on Down".  All bidding will now be done from their seats.

Name tags will be re-used.

Contestants not appearing on stage will receive a pat on the back and will get to keep their name tags.

The "Lose Everything" signs from Pass the Buck will be added to the Big Wheel.

Contestants must now get $1.09 in one spin or a combination of two spins to win the $1000 and bonus spin.

The putter for Hole in One is replaced with a crooked pool cue.

Naming rights for some games will be sold to the highest bidder, like college football bowl games:
