Lisa was a contestant on Survivor: Vanuatu who was voted off in the sixth episode. I recognized her immediately. It was kinda obvious because the only thing anyone remembers of her from the show (besides one comment taken out of proportion) was her...flotation devices.
Av Changes: 1) Zuiikin English!; 2) Chicken gets voted out of Survivor China; 3) Boo-Boo, the greatest contestant of The Price is Right's first season; 4) Quite possibly the cutest fall in Survivor history; 5) Parvati, the winner of Survivor: Fans vs. Faves; 6) Kathreya, the Thai Cookie Monster

Becky was awesome.  It's a real shame she was called ninth, and couldn't get up on stage.  So happy, loud, and birthday-ish, I guess :).

And despite not revealing her age--she didn't really have much opportunity, admittedly--we could probably guess that she's 40.  "39 again???" and "the big one" kinda' hint there ;).

I do believe Zachary is the first contestant since Daneen from the first week aired to really get into the whole Chuck Norris punching-style.  Fun to see contestants really get into that whole thing.

Holly was nice, too.  Don't worry, Drew, she's promising not to take too long :)!

Yay for Lisa winning Money Game!  Always nice to see fellow New Orleanians do well.

One of my little pet peeves has been when a contestant tries to blame the audience for a loss that isn't the audience's fault.  Like today's Range Game.  It didn't seem like anyone wanted Alicia to stop, as far as I could tell.  And it certainly didn't look like anyone from her own group wanted her to stop it that early.  Maybe it's that same mole that caused Freeze Frame's loss yesterday :oldlol:!

You'd think I'd have remembered that.  Being from New Orleans myself and all.  But then, I didn't really watch Survivor myself.  Probably should've remembered the press, though.

Decent Show, despite the "sorry" Range Game playing.

Im glad Judah "lost out on the car and showcase", as he is a NOTOT candadiate.  as most of his bids of his bids werent orginal, AND BEFORE PEOPLE START ON ME....review the tape.....when he $1'ered he wasnt even the last bidder.

I agree with you, Keith, he didn't have that enthusiasm for Pass the Buck either, really looking neutral when getting one of the GPs wrong.

Decent show today, yet dangerously close to a skunking - she had no clue on paint protection and barely won.

B
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Funny thing about today was that we had :botc: without chat.  Those dreaded glitches come up at the wrong time.

As for the CSS note, see those boards on a possible extention of the playoffs due to :botc:

As for today...

Range: Too early I tell you!

Punch: Whilst it is a loss, $5K is a nice payout.

Money: Going all over the place...

Swap Meet: Tough call.

Pass the Buck: See Punch.

Range Game: Aiee! This takes me back to that playing on the DVD set where the contestant stopped it way to early.

Punch-a-Bunch: During the reveal, those screams reminded me of that one girl who was in line screaming her lungs out during my last trip. I kinda miss the "...do not pull out the slip in the hole."

Money Game: For a moment, I thought Lisa was going to blow it on the last try.

Swap Meet: It was between the computer and the console fireplace. After seeing the computer's price, I knew now which prize was the one to swap.

Pass the Buck: My first guess was 4. After the second $5,000 win of the game, I afterguessed that the car was under 6. It was.

Pick-a-Number: I actually thought this was going to be played first after seeing that hovercraft. But it seems it cannot be with that hovercraft costing over $16,000. I just didn't think the right number would be 1. It was.

Showcases: I was guessing 14304 for the game room Showcase.

I just want to say this, what was up with the opening? We see Drew, then audience, then back to the microphone. Is this a change or a one time thing?

Range Game: I wonder if Alicia stopped it deliberately. Or at least someone told her too. Not a very wise move there.

Punch-A-Bunch: Never really gotten used to the Chuck Norris punching style of the game. Great that Zachary got $5K in the last hole there.

Money Game: Despite a shaky start when it came to the rules of the game Lisa manages to win that car there. 44 would be my second choice for the last 2 for the price of the car. 36 was my first.

Swap Meet: I went with the dinette. Tough loss.

Pass The Buck: Again Drew does the work for the contestant by passing the buck for them.  Still though Judah also manages to get $5K.

Pick-A-Number: 3 was my choice too.  Looks like Roger didn't want this to be won today.

SCSD #2: I wanted Eugene to win.

Showcases: Well whoever garfed the least today was the winner and fortunately for Alicia it was her as Judah totally garfed on his showcase that featured a car. Redemption for Alicia today.

That makes 4 ex-Survivors to have been TPIR contestants (along with Mitchell Olson from Survivor: Australia, Tijuana Bradley from Survivor: Pearl Islands and Aaron Reisberger from Survivor: China)

Nice little bit of trivia, since I am a Survivor fan as well as an LFaT of TPIR  ;)

Alicia probably really trusted the audience member who said "stop at $16,300" early in the game.  Everyone else wanted her to go higher on the scale, and I wonder why she didn't take their advice since the audience really does a heck of a job to sway contestants in Range Game.

Well, what some people feared would happen did happen, they changed the dollar signs on the paper hole coverings in Punch a Bunch to Pricedown ones, albeit in purple instead of yellow.  They are kind of hard to see when the camera zooms out from the punchboard, also.

Did anyone notice that Drew said "$150" as one of the prizes on the punchboard, when he was telling Zachary about them?

Has anyone ever accidentally pulled out a slip like Zachary has in the years they have been playing this game?

Zachary was fun to watch in Punch a Bunch, and it was pretty good that he won $5,000 on his birthday.  I loved how Drew built up the reveal for the final slip and his comment about the person who said "don't worry, you'll spin the wheel later!"

Wow, Swap Meet was played in the second half of the show more than one time for the first time since Season 33!

Also, I think this is the first time I heard the price reveals in Swap Meet squeak when they were flipped.

I laughed at Drew's Yogi Bear impression for part of the fifth bidding round.

The directing for the first pick in Pass the Buck was just, bad.  It seems that Bart wasn't really trying to zoom in or cut to a zoom-in on #4 when Judah said it.

Yeah, the MGHSH Ticket Plug cue was played for showcase #2!

Tijuana was on December 20, 2006.   Does anyone know when Mitchell or Aaron was on the show?
