CSS Results for June 18

In the PriceFan985 vs. Voltron291 Final Round, both players... went over! However, in this case we go to the non-over showcase to determine who the winner of the day is. (If that weren't possible, it becomes whoever overbid less). On the surprisingly expensive SUV:

PriceFan985: Bid - $36,898 | Diff - $4,225
Voltron291: Bid - $37,810 | Diff - $3,313

So Voltron291 wins round one by a fairly small margin. Still two games to go, and anything could happen.

As far as the rest of us are concerned, Joe_Capitano lists the ARP for the gym showcase as $16,790 even. If I made this adjustment, only two people would gain anything. BRB_TheFireball and dh027, if you want your 0.01 point, let me know. (It is because of rounding that their scores change at all, nobody else moves up or down anything). And speaking of dh027, nice bid on the gymn. I got rather, shall we say, eager... drat.

FieldsFan just squeaks by a cash win on the SUV... only $8 between her bid and Enzo Aquarius. But Enzo's bid on the gym was about a thousand dollars better, giving him the edge for the points win.

I finished third?  That's surprising.

Where was everyone today?

I got held up with something during the Showcases, so I had to skip CSS today.  :-(

...that's okay, I probably would have had a garf/OVER combo anyways.  :-D

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Hey, at least since I went over, it doesn't call attention to the fact that I garfed on the SUV.

Of course now that I say this, everyone will see it, but I don't care.  :P

Almost said $16,795 (which would have been painful), but thought it looked more expensive, so I went higher.

As soon as I heard "3rd row of seats" I figured megabucks. SC1 I was a bit surprised the TV mega-gym didn't push it past 17k, and with the 9k jet ski, I understand Volty's & the Robot's (near) WSDs today.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

And it comes as no surprise that I bombed out on the SUV, but what really sucks is that I blew the cash for the gym.  I said something in chat today that really stuck out:  If I wanted to Willy Showcase #2, I'm gonna Willy it in style...and I did THAT with a bona fide :wotc:!!

:-D

Yeah yeah, that Willy of the Century was one of the most spectacular things I've done so far this season.

And speaking of dh027, nice bid on the gymn.

Thanks, Tom.  I lucked out for a change.  I'm good the way it is; I don't want the 0.01 point.

Where was everyone today?
A friend stayed over and we were up kind of late, and since it doesn't kill me to miss CSS anymore, I decided to get some sleep. As for my bids... $19,400/$41,200. Good thing the first showcase was surprisingly cheap, because that was a very tragic Heels on the other showcase. Besides the fact that it was a $77 overbid, I was so close to typing $41,100. Ouch.

Working.  CSS doesn't pay the bills.
