McDonald's "Bucket O' Fries"
« on: July 21, 2008, 01:27:37 PM »
Has anybody here actually ordered the "Bucket O' Fries" from McDonalds?
(yes, this is actually a real item, no, its not on the menu [in most places], but it is available, and yes, I have actually gotten the Bucket O' Fries).

I didn't know that McDonald's started offering a Bucket O' Fries.

I'm suddenly hungry for fries...
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Oh yes! Its not on the menu at all locations, but all of them offer it and have been offering it for a number of years. They're usually fill up a super sized (or bigger) cup with fries.

Well...I guess next time I go to McDonald's with some friends, I guess I know what we're going to order...

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

I haven't seen it for a few years but I remember ordering it a few years back, that was awesome. Just to be able to say I've ordered fries that came in a giant bucket, and that there could possibly be a size bigger than super-size

Never heard of it. Don't like McDonald's fries that much anyway.

It prolly varies from place to place, depending on the owner. But looks like the average is ten bucks for a bag of fries...and get this...looks like there is a bucket o' nuggets (50 piece)!

Yeah I agree. We all know how bad trans fats are. And a large fry has 570 calories and 8g trans fat! I hate to see how much this has!

I know people who work in McDonalds. They have 'heard' of the Bucket O' Fries, but never have seen it or been asked for it.

The last time I got it (and this was a few years ago) in Lafayette, Louisiana, I believe it was $3-$3.50 plus tax.

This thread almost seems urban-legend like. I didn't know anything like this existed but now I'm curious!
