And you thought I'd have disappeared from hosting my PA shows. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
Since I haven't done one since December, I don't expect much of anyone (if anyone at all) to care about what happened during the Christmas Extravaganza MDS, so let's just jump right into this new episode!
To make sure I pick the cream of the crop of the plethora of potential contestants that sign up, I'll going to introduce my critically anal methods of how to sign up.
There are
TWO MANDATORY WAYS to sign up for my show. I repeat:
Mandatory! Anyone who gives me an "I'm in!" or "Sign me up!" response will not suffice. OK, let's fire away!
NAME THAT GAME!This short quiz will test your knowledge and probably also your luck about pricing games played on my previous 3 shows. One point will be awarded for answering the question completely correct for up to 6 points (including the bonus).
1. Besides Triple Play, name one of the other games I have previously played for 3 cars. (Hint: there are two, but one will do.)
2. Name the game that has offered the most expensive prize.
3. Name one retired game I have played.
4. Name the first cash game I have played.
5. Name the first car-only game I have played.
And for the bonus: How many Dodge Vipers have I offered? (Only the exact number counts!)
Complete the entire quiz and post your answers below; top scores will advance to becoming contestants. (More on that below...)
In addition to that, if you are bursting with creativity, you can try...
THAT DON'T IMPRESS ME MUCH!The rule is simple.
Write your own original lyrics to the Price Is Right theme song. I am looking for originality (well, obviously), wit, and humour. Yes, you can write about Bob being replaced with a Barkerbot 3500, but that might offend some people.
The best lyrics will make it through to becoming contestants. Hopefully, the contestant pool will be made up equally from these two sign-up processes, but it will be adjusted accordingly due to the circumstances if one process has more responses.
Regular PA forums rules apply: 24 hours for responses: no more, no less. Be there or be square. Everything else will be dealt with accordingly with justice. One PM will be sent out to you if you get called down, but none other subsequent reminders afterwards.
The show starts on
Monday, August 7. The graphics explosions have increased, so be prepared for wonderful surprises. (Yes apeminkie, I've upped the ante!)
