i bought the PYL game from Amazon as well, after playing it a few times this is what i have to say:
the game itself is a lot smaller than it looks on the site. i tuned in expecting it to be a full LCD screen with the 18 squares arranged in a rectangle like the old days, hear full stereo music and hear good SFX from the show. i also expected easy questions and lots of spins each round
instead, i opened the box to find two rows of nine squares, over an LED screen similar to a TI-83 calculator. the music was less than MIDI-quality and it's just one musical phrase repeated. the sound effect is basically the first half of the 1986 board loop. the "spins" are just the arrow bouncing from one square to the next. the squares don't change values like they did on the original board
and as for the questions, i have yet to exceed 4 spins in one question round. and oh by the way, you're also playing against the house, there are no computer opponents to play with
i give it a 1/5...fun for a few minutes but not a big engagement over time
