As far as the Bonus Spin, not so sure it was exactly puny. She actually came pretty close to winning $10k on it so.

That first showcase was certainly interesting, that's Rich's first on camera time in a while sans the credits is it not?

Not sure I really liked the line at the end of the 2nd showcase, was funny, but don't know if it fit well.

That globe really fooled me in Danger Price, thought that would be the DP.

What an expensive clock in One Right Price too.

Squeezy was hard today, tough price.

If your bonus spin doesn't make it back to the 5-spot, it's a Puny Bonus Spin. Period.

Did anyone understand what the hell that first Showcase was?  I was paying close attention to EVERYTHING that it seemed Rich and Drew were rambling on about, yet I still did not get what was going on.  The Showcase copy writing has gone to hell this season.  By the way, who's writing that now?  Whoever it is, tell them to pack their bags, get on the next flight home, and stay away from the BBS.  My brother, with his kindergarten-level writing skills, could do a better job!

I made it home from school late, so I only got to see the second half of the show.  For someone who looked like she would be of the age to know how to play Squeeze Play, Charlene appeared clueless.  I knew immediately removing the 9 was wrong.

Tough loss on Cover Up.  I said $19,840, so I would have lost as well.

I believe Double Prices was set up to be won.  There is no way that clock could have been $5,999!  I was screaming "TV" the whole time.  I cannot believe Raul lost that one!  It's amazing to think, though, of where he would have put a 70" TV in his house.  I don't even have a space in my house that's 70" long!

A pretty disappointing show win/loss wise complete with that bonus spin falling short, until.....

Rich gets to announce AND act in one of THE best Showcases I've seen in a lonnnnnnngggggg time.  I swear I could hear our Fieldsy screaming with glee from my apartment.  Let's see more Showcases like this!

When was the last time two car games were played in the same half (not counting primetime specials, season premieres, or milestone episodes)?

Actually andy, I doubt if steph would scream because her mom would tell her to be quiet and act her age.  But I know she will love it though.

The basic idea was that there was nothing to offer, Drew objected, and some stuff beyond cash were then offered. BTW Drew is writing the showcases now.

I wouldn't be surprised if Drew wrote this showcase, but I haven't read anything from TPTB to indicate that this was one that he wrote.

Today's showcase was THE best one in a long time. I loved it.

We had a wheelie today!

Why weren't the lights on the wheel working today?

If your bonus spin doesn't make it back to the 5-spot, it's a Puny Bonus Spin. Period.
But she also had a puny first spin; it was her spin pattern - naturally weak, nearly perfect. You should have seen the bonus spin, it was right on the line between 90 and 5. Technically puny I guess, but it was an exciting moment.

Meanwhile...man, so many missed opportunities after a surprising Pushy-car-leadoff! Tough GPs on Holey, first time someone's thought a crib was cheap in awhile, tough on Squeezy yes, but -96 looked better than -56 at least, Gavazzi showing again, and the non-knowledge that a TV likes -95 and -99. Then the SCs...such a mixed bag. SC1 COULD have been the best theme of the year so far, making the most out of disjointed prizes, but it was very awkward and then no classic phrase at the end of it, then SC2 was back to discontinuing the theme on the 2nd prize.

Pushy: For a car? But 16,175 was really the only one that made any sense.
Hole in One: Not the easiest set-up with the products, but her putting was quite poor.
Danger: I was thinking the cookware all along. But those are prizes I really haven't seen on the show very often.
Squeezy: I would've had it.
Cover Up: Tough. I would've had 4 right on the first try too, but I wasn't thinking 1 for the other number.
1RP: Impressed by the quality of the prizes. The TV looked pretty obvious though.

Yuck. Another 1-win show. After Pushy I thought our luck may change, but not so.

Too bad I couldn't see the showcases; they sounded really great. I guess I'll have to hit up Innertube later.

Actually, I thought the worst showcase themes came during the latter Rod Roddy era. At least they were better during Season 36 ... haven't seen too many from Season 37, so I can't really comment on that. The best showcases, hands down, came during the Johnny Olson era.

Pretty decent show, despite the fact that there wasn't a lot of winning. Seeing Rich in SC1 was quite awesome, and his banter with Drew was quite funny.  I wouldn't mind seeing a few more Showcases like that, so long as they aren't overdone. I still don't care for the "recap of prizes" at the end of the Showcases, though.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.
