I will definitely be voting that day.  Plus, that's the day after my birthday, so I won't be forgetting.

This is the first Presidential election I can vote in! :D I made sure to request the day off so I can watch the results roll in. Plus, apparently when the polls close in Oklahoma there's a bit of ceremony where the poll workers announce the polls are closed and post the count from the voting machine—I want to be there and see that even though I'm pretty sure I know which candidate will win my precinct.

What sort of voting system does your state use? In OK we have the candidates listed, and each has an arrow pointing to their name. Each arrow has a gap in the middle. You just connect the two ends of the arrow to vote for someone. It's pretty simple.

For anyone else who finds this interesting, they do this at every polling place across the country I'm aware of.  Each county's elections headquarters (or wherever they tally the votes) is usually open for public inspection, too.  They probably won't let you into the room for security reasons, but they'll have a viewing area for people who want to watch the process.

Touch screen.  It's a heckuva lot better than the old mechanical pull-lever behemoths I grew up with.

It can be fascinating to watch results pour in, but during the day, you won't see much of anything besides the same predictions we have followed the past few weeks.  After the fiasco of the 2000 election, where flawed projections caused networks to declare winners in states that were actually too close to call, the networks have been mandated to be more careful in their pronouncements.  Also, there has been concern that projecting a winner in a state which has early-closing polls can effect the turnout in west-coast states.  I do get the feeling now that the networks are heading back to their over-zealous-pre-2000 projection mentality.  The responsibility should be to provide results in a timely, accurate fashion, but certainly network rivaliries come into play.  Here's a good article on the subject:  http://www.america.gov/st/elections08-english/2008/October/20081030160905esnamfuak0.3107721.html

Sorry, I'm not going out to vote on Tuesday.

Because I already went out and voted two weeks ago on the first day of early voting down here.  Got there at 12:45 pm, the line was about 200 people long.  Finally got inside to cast my vote at 5:15 pm.

I voted early too. Voted on the first day of early voting in North Carolina. The only drawback is that you are not exempt from being bombarded with political ads after voting.

A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

Yeah.  We need someone new to keep ol' Stevie (Harper, the Canadian prime minister) on his toes.

I also participated in early voting in Illinois.

Our system is a scantron ballot with fill-in ovals.  I like the "complete the arrow" idea.  Anything to avoid those old punch cards.  This is my third Presidential election, and I haven't missed a bi-annual election since I was eligible to vote in 1999.
