CSS Results for November 18
« on: November 18, 2008, 06:06:12 PM »
Those were some expensive showcases, especially number two, which was also one of the more unfunny showcases this season. Chapparal 180BR = $25,000, Trip to Florence = $9,000 range, and that stove is probably $5,000 or so. I shaved because the last time I thought I had a stove in the bag, I went way over, so there's my excuse for garfing. What's yours?

Stage Player will not be needing any excuses on the second showcase, the best difference and a fifth place finish. UniquePerspective was the only player to breah $20K on the game room and player piano and despite a garftastic bid on two, money is not placement-dependent. For best overall difference, look up at namnhu12. Nobody quite broke 90 today, but it's a fairly rare occasion around here to have a perfect day with no red.

S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

... did I miss something in that first showcase?  I know the pinball machine was $5,995, the popcorn cart was $3,000, and the piano was $7,500.  Was that game table $6,000 or something?
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

$18,200/$32,400... looks like Armadillo didn't play CSS today, so I'll anxiously wait to see if his garfs were better than mine. Unless he actually nailed these showcases, in which case I'll be stunned. That's not hating on Armadillo... that's saying how tough these showcases were.

I only have five words to describe today...

"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Shizza, I can't believe Stage cashed.  :-o

What the heck was up with SC1? There's no way the game table can be THAT expensive.

I think the player piano (drums and tambourine included) is $10,000. The player organ is $7,500.

It's a good thing I didn't play today, since I would have garfed the ski boat showcase badly.

Way for me to not play today. I would have gotten some points. Maybe tomorrow.
