In 1987 a kids version of TPIR debuted in Italy with by Enrica Bonaccorti at the helm, her 13 years old daughter Verdiana as the announcer and the clown Sbirulino (played by actress Sandra Mondaini) as the "model".
That same season, Sbirulino appeared on another show to sing the theme with Lorella Cuccarini. Here is the video!

Sir, can you tell me how much is a kilo of joy, how much is a meter of poetry?
Can you tell me how much is a hecto of kindness and a cup of happiness?
Choir:
And how much is dreaming, how much is flying...
flying to a country with a thousand surprises hung up for youHow much is affection and a lil' kiss I'm waiting from you?
Choir:
A carriage of popcorn, dolls and robots
what's the price, who knows, who can guess it?
How much is flying, how much is dreaming...
dreaming of being in a choir and us with them singing for you.How much is the smile, the smile you're waiting from me?
Can you tell me how much is the "I-want" grass, eh?
who much is wine, and how much for the king?
Can you tell me how much is a sea that's still blue
and a friend that won't come back?
Choir:
How much is flying, how much is dreaming...
dreaming a sun stitched on a clean sky, that's shining for usHow much is a voice that tells you things you like?
Choir:
Candies, chewing-gum, how good, yum!
What's the price, who knows, who can guess it?
How much is dreaming, how much is hoping...
hoping, how I'd like that peace comes back to play with meHow much is the love in a heart that beats for you!
