Has there ever been a time where the clicker is so close to going to the next space where they announce the score and before the next spinner spins, it actually clicks over to the next spot? I know there have been ones extremely close before, but I'm curious if it ever clicked after a score has been told. If so, is there any videos of it?

Indeed it has happened and I believe there is a clip out there somewhere.  The contestant was awarded the higher score if I remember correctly.

This indeed happened in 1993. The contestant got one dollar and just as the next person was getting ready to spin, it clicked over to 15 cents. Bob let the $1,000 spin count though.
