I was excited when the Doug Davidson version was first announced, I thought it would be quite exotic to be watching TPiR in the evenings (I was too young to see the original prime time series', and there were no prime time specials at the time). And the changes to the set did intrigue me then. As it turned out, TNPiR was aired at like 2am here, way too late for me on a school night. I never saw it, and also it didn't occur to me to tape at least 1 episode (DOH!).

Ironically, now I watch TPiR at various crazy hours, because I record it at 11am (which falls in my last full hour of sleep) then watch it after work, anytime between 11pm and 3-4am. On my days off I might watch it after I wake up in mid-afternoon or in the evening. Sometimes when I fall behind I watch a few shows on the weekends, too. Funny how things turn out.
