November 3, 1975
« on: November 01, 2006, 02:05:15 PM »
This Friday, November 3, marks 31 years ago that The Price Is Right expanded to a full hour on a permanent basis (having done it on a test run during the week of Sept. 8, 1975). CBS slottted it at 10 AM Eastern, moving that time's previous occupant, Give-N-Take, to 4 PM Eastern (replacing the canceled Musical Chairs).

Oh, and if that dude claiming that Price didn't expand to an hour until December 1 shows up with the same claim, I'll just have to open up a can of proof.

Yep...only I can't say it on a family-friendly board. ;)

November 3 is my birthday also.

I was 7 when that happened but I didn't see that episode because I was in the 1st Grade and in school.
