TNPiR '94 Question
« on: November 04, 2006, 12:18:40 PM »
Hi.

Now, I know Wikipedia makes mistakes, so I want to make sure of this:

from Wikipedia's entry for TNPiR '94 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Price_Is_Right_%281994%29):

The pilot for the series was hosted by LA news personality Mark Kriski, with Bob Hilton doing the announcing. Shots of the set from this episode, which used the colored spolights from the '86 Specials around the Big Doors and a repainted Range Game board for the Showcase, can be seen in the opening sequence on early episodes.

Now, I can confirm the 'shots of the set from this episode...' part to be true. However, can anyone confirm that Mark Kriski hosted the TNPiR '94 pilot?

If so, why isn't it in the FAQ?

Please respond.
-Daniel

Yes, Mark Kriski did host an unaired pilot.

It's in there now.  It had really never occurred to me to add that.
