A pretty good show. Some nice contestants, some nice games, and some other stuff.
Howard was a nice guy. Pretty darn energetic for someone 90! And wow, he was able to spin the wheel by himself! Too bad he didn't get in the showcase.
Tammie was fun! She had great enthusiasm, enjoying being with Bob, not worrying too much about not winning... really, I'm kinda' surprised Bob wasn't worried about Tammie hurting him. She seemed like the type who might've done that.
What the heck was going on with the Grand Game reveal today?! Or more specifically, the sporadic camera work? The reveal looked normal enough at first, but then, weird, shaky close ups of the top part of the target price border and some zeros in the top prize amount? What the heck
was that?! It was hideous!
And speaking of Grand Game, I'm not sure whether or not Bob temporarily forgot the "quitting" rules for Grand Game, but I do like how he played it up so that, if he did just forget, it was hard to tell, meaning Bob's still got it
!
Maria really bothered me today. From her $1 bid in contestants' row, to her "listening to the audience while ignoring them" playing of Eazy az 1-2-3, to her extremely fake reactions to seeing her prizes in the second showcase. I mean, I know they weren't the most exciting prizes in the world, and I know some people have gotten genuinely excited over mere SPs before, but that wasn't the case here.
I can't say Ami played One Away all that well either, but she was nice enough, anyway.
Well, Shell Game took its sweet time coming around this season. Roger likes teasing us. I don't think Shell Game has ever been played second since its set change. Shows Roger doesn't completely dislike the game, anyway. Otherwise, he'd just slot it like he does Joker
.
Also, today's Shell Game show's why Bob shouldn't ask the contestant how to do the reveal. Too many just want it done the "boring" way. At least Bob had a great spiel about all the different ways he could reveal what was under the shells.
Julie was nice

No he didn't. He played well, but he still lost $2. Playing "as well as it could be played" would require losing $0.

No it didn't. One Away was also lost.
