Results-The $301K Spoilers Suck FPG for 02/24/2012

I realize now what I should have done was have people tell me when they submitted their picks to tell me WHERE they would have placed Road and Most and how they would have predicted them just to see where thing swould have been payed out.  I'm almost certain (and please don't reply to tell me you would have done this) that no one would have slotted 2nd and I GUARANTEE NO ONE WOULD HAVE DARED slotted Road anywhere but 1st and most likely only Gavazzi would have had it for the W.

So that being said, there were still four games to be played.  Some of them were actually locks IMO (there wasn't a timed game all week which made the overdue Bonkers a lock) and some of them not so much.

Someone won, who did I wonder?

In 3rd place this week, scoring a nice 6 MG / 20 CP, only needing two correct selections, Bonkers rS/rR
and Dubba rS/wR was

1st Place though snuck up from behind with his 6th slot call. Not the first time at all, he had the win LOCKED UP regardless of the outcome of Grand 6th....

Chatroom regular DJTorgo!!!

To the rest of us go the spoils of one of the weakest weekly FPG totals on record.  But considering only 6 games were outright won all week, that's not all that bad huh?

Enjoy your weekend!

BUT HOLLLDDDDDD IT!!

A one time error was made to one person's scoring that affect the rankings, especially to 3rd place.  Congrats on that should go to vadernader!  Sorry bout that!

Well, both my backups ended up getting in and avoided a wipeout, so yay to that...

FWIW, I probably would have slotted Most 3rd for a win.

I actually still would have put Grand and Plinko on my list even without the wildcards - i really thought Mike might just use a "special episode" to pull a fast one and give us 2 cash games in one day. Oh, well, at least he didn't throw Bag in there (though I did actually consider putting it in as a third cash game, before deciding not to put all my eggs into that basket).

The only real monkey wrench for me was Bonus - Bonkers and Double were logical picks which I gambled on not showing up today.

Congrats to the winners.
So this is the "get off of my lawn" stage of my life.  I'm not impressed.

Didn't I get more than 6CP?

1. CHECK-OUT (FOR A CAR) - L (1)
2. DANGER PRICE - L (2)
3. BONKERS - W (3)
4. DOUBLE PRICES - L (4)
5. PLINKO - W (5)
6. HI LO (FOR A CAR) - L (6)

I count 22 ((2 * 3) + (4 * 4)).

Also, I would have slotted G-R L 1st and M.E. 2nd, That's why my crazy picks were slots 1 & 2 :P

I can't believe I made the mistake of selecting Easy as 123 as one of my picks.  I knew that Most Expensive was being played and it is a rare incident that 2 three-prize games are played in the same episode (if it has ever happened).

I'm really surprised Borko didn't show up...oh well. I'll certainly take third. :)

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Is "Borko" Plinko?

I figured Plinko would show up, but no other GP games besides Grand were due....so I threw that in...yay.

What's "due" hasn't mattered in 4 weeks. :P

Have you noticed the only car won this week was on the final segment of the week? Right now A# is being replaced by these non-car fails.

Eh... maybe it was a bit much to expect people to actually win pricing games...

(Bonkers in particular totally should have been won...)

I'm really surprised Borko didn't show up

Even though Grand was clearly more due than Plinko, I didn't think that there was any way that Plinko would be left out of the lineup of a special episode.  But given how Mike has been desperate lately to force more losses, I should've suspected that he would continue to avoid any PG where somebody could luck into a big win (Plinko and A#) and replace them with PGs where he has control the outcome (Grand and Bonus).
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I'm sorry but I very much beg to differ.  As for Any Number, that is very much controllable on many many levels.  Plinko too is very much controllable and all you need to remember about that is how horrible the SP setups have been in the past.
