This has been the biggest chore I've ever had as the recap guide. Most of the show has been swallowed up on DVR by my CBS station's useless news break-ins. (You could've warned me, Bryan...) Did we need to spend almost the entire show on a police funeral? This has forced me to spend even more time than usual on this. Because I have to watch the commercials. And this being CBS, most of them are Obama political ads. That horror ends when the break-in ends during the pricing for this IUFB.

Today show was good 4 wins out of 2 & Drew did a good job today as host.
A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

Well, this was considerably better than yesterday. Drew was back to being "just there" today, which is a bit of an improvement, and we had some more favorable results in the PGs. Bonkers was a definite Mikestopper, and I can tell Mike would't have minded if Rat were lost either, but those were some great rat choices there. And then we ended the show with Pick A Pair continuing its undefeated run, not like there was much doubt today. Even Mike can't seem to get Pick A Pair lost. The swimming guest showcase was just there today and didn't really add or take away anything.

Timings:
Bonkers (4.5) - 3:54
Switch? (3.5) - 2:55
More Or Less (5.5) - 5:25
Squeeze Play (3.5) - 3:24
Rat Race (6) - 5:53
Pick A Pair (4.5) - 3:55
Total (27.5): 25:26

Bonkers: Well done!

S?: Fairly easy, because BBQ islands are expensive nowadays.

MoL: Ana wasn't that much of a LFaT in this playing- I think she needed to have said LESS three times in a row after the first MORE to have won everything.

Squeeze Play: Considering Pearl did a baseball slide just as she got out of Contestant's Row, I wish she actually had played this instead of Bonkers.

Rat Race: IMO, I thought it was cute that after we saw an eco-friendly PUFB just before this, the green rat was the winner in this playing. Anyway, good job by Gabriel!

PaP: I know the plums & the pasta were $2.49 each & both the sauce & the Aspercreme were each $6.79.

Showcases: I knew Gabriel had slightly overshot the second Showcase (which featured Jessica Hardy).

Good show today.

Nice wins on Bonkers, Switch?, and Pick A Pair, and it was great to see a car win on Rat Race! :-)

Today's show was a lot better than yesterday's show, IMHO.

Drew had to be on something during this taping, too.  His description of the Bonkers rules went a mile a minute.  Pearl and Dominique had to be on the same thing.

Nonetheless, Pearl played Bonkers like a pro:  fast picks and no looking at the audience.

I don't think Mike was counting on More or Less to be lost on the designer shoes.  He was, of course, counting on the contestant to get to the Jeep and lose there.

I think she needed to have said LESS three times in a row after the first MORE to have won everything.

The camera caught the price stand for the Jeep.  The wrong price was $19,800.  Jeep Patriots are notoriously cheap (they start at $15,995), so there is no doubt that LESS would have been the correct answer.

A trip to Omaha?

My showcase bids:
Tonga--$21,507
MINI--$27,507 ( :dsw: )
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Today's show was really nice with 4 wins of 6. Bonkers, Switch, Rat Race, and Pick A Pair were the highlights of today. Squeeze play had a tricky setup again.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

I have to give props to Drew and today was pretty good and totally watchable............

Bonkers: Pearl played that like a pro! And won her showcase, too!

Switch?: Another good win!

More or Less: Not won, but not loss............

Squeeze Play: elskunkoman was right........That was tricky.

Rat Race: Gabriel did good and won a car, but not his showcase unfortunately, though.........Mini Coopers can be tricky as well.

Pick-A-Pair: Another trip was won, but it's still good gameplay.

Now that was a great show...........We need stuff like that more often, if Mike didn't try to screw contestants on a day-to-day basis. And here's to Jessica Hardy and I hope brings home some gold.

There is exactly one word to describe the first act of this show...and that word is "Yolanda."

Pearl was a rare combination: a contestant that hams it up for the cameras but is also a top-notch player.

Hooray for treadmills! What a beautiful demonstration.  :-D

Wow, it feels like forever since we had a 4/6 show!

Bonkers was well-played on a setup with many "go against the odds" digits. Anchoring the first digit as higher was key, and between that and moving fast, Pearl got the win. Well done.

I think Ana was trying to out-Mike Mike there on the shoes and ended up in a reverse-fail. That said, considering that the recent Gas Money w/the Jeep Patriot wouldn't have aired for her yet, I doubt she would have gotten the car anyways...

Nice win in Rat Race! One thing to note, though, is that all the car game wins since that car game losing streak started have been in games where the contestant doesn't need to figure out the car ARP; as far as actually pricing cars go, the contestants are still struggling. We'll see if that changes anytime soon...

And I repeat: contestants still don't know how to lose Pick-a-Pair.  :P This is its 10th win this season, and still 0 losses.
