That's Too Much was won today Kitch. Speaking of which today's show was pretty good with 4 for 6 wins and Switcheroo wasn't gonna be won today and grand game was also difficult.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

This was a pretty good one! Drew was totally out of it today, and a chance to judge a grilled cheese contest which is available to the public anyway may be one of the dumber prizes ever offered, but the contestants and gameplay helped make this an above average show. In particular, it was nice to see That's Too Much break its 16-game losing streak! That was very well played - Veronica knew Kias were cheap, and was clearly not afraid to stop early. It was also nice to see a clear One Right Price trap setup avoided - it's rare just a few handbags are that expensive and have a nice round number. Oh, and a super close Range Game win! Those are always exciting, and it's been quite a while since one happened.

Make Your Move was a bit of an unusual case today, and dragged on a bit longer than necessary. However, Grand and TTM were very short, so that may have allowed us to see more of it than we would otherwise ordinarily see. Are playings always that much of a mess? Tuan looked like he was clearly done, to the point where Drew probably should have let a final answer be final, but instead was given one final opportunity to change, a final opportunity which featured some overlapping numbers. It seems contestants get confused in MYM frequently due to the edits we see in the game and today due to other games going short, we got to see it. Yikes.

I see Switcheroo is back to being its usual broken self...

Timings:
One Right Price (3.5) - 2:50
Range Game (4) - 3:30
Switcheroo (5.5) - 5:24
Make Your Move (4.5) - 5:27
Grand Game (5) - 3:11
That's Too Much (3.5) - 3:03

ORP: I would've lost this one.

Range: I think that's the third time in the current era somebody's won this game w/ one of the edges of the guessed scale!

Switcheroo: Not too hard for once, at least for the car (although I would've guessed $19,911 first).

MYM: I didn't think that Mammoth trip was that cheap. Good thing the audience saved his butt.

Grand: I'm confident the other losing product in that playing was the chocolate.

TTM: Be quiet, audience- you could've let this car slip away at the last moment in this playing (although thankfully that wasn't the case)!

Showcases: I would've liked it if Tyler Florence had appeared in the food truck Showcase because he hosts "The Great Food Truck Race".

Good shows all around so far this week!

Nice wins on 1 Right Price, Make Your Move (thanks to the audience), and That's Too Much & what an exciting win on Range Game!

Another good one overall, IMHO.

Pretty good show with a close Range Game, Make Your Move and Switcheroo appearances plus a rare TTM win.   Not sure why the audience was booing on that last one but she did well.

Didn't the Switcheroo player have the 3 correctly positioned for a second at the very beginning, and moved it before his first turn was up?

Another good show today:

THE BAD NEWS:

Grand Game: Since the target price was $7.50, I thought at first it wasn't gonna be that hard.............But unfortunately, Wendy picked the lotion.

THE NOT-SO-BAD NEWS:

Switcheroo: Jason was way off with the fourth digit of the car (Three 9s?!) At least he got 2 SPs and won his showcase.

THE GOOD NEWS:

ORP: Thuy picked the bags which was the right price! I thought it was the computer...........

Range Game: Paul hit the exact mark to win that kitchen island and a supply of steaks!

MYM: For Tuan, it pays to listen to the peanut gallery..........Good thing he did!

TTM: Veronica stopped the losing streak! FINALLY!!!! Hell froze over, pigs actually fly, a monkey types Hamlet!!!

With That's Too Much finally been won today, maybe Cover-Up won't be too far behind. But with one loss too many from that game, I highly doubt it. We just have to wait and see.

Yes, Jason had the Switcheroo car price right at the start of the game, but not for too long.

Holy crap!  Right on $10,923!  Awesome Range Game win!

$19,991 didn't make any sense for the price of the Switcheroo car... but I wouldn't have put it past MR to pull something like that.

Watching Tuan play Make Your Move was almost as painful as a root canal... but at least he won.

Gold Bond lotion claims another victim in Grand Game.

I cannot believe somebody actually won That's Too Third!

My showcase bids:
Cruise--$22,507
Truck--$22,507
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I never thought there was a thing as TTM being setup for a win, but that's what it seemed like to me.  My first thought was Kia Sedan = roughly 18K, and they're advertised around that price often enough too.  I thought they were really rushing through some of the games, but Make You Move answered that question for me.

This was a very good episode, and all the pricing games had something won from it (even though Switcheroo is still a loss, which doesn't make this a lossless show).

1RP: The designer crap came, good thing that it match the price today.

Range: That was an interesting playing and surprised that it was so close to the edge.

Didn't really hear/see Switcheroo.

MYM: For a second it seemed like he stopped, but then he made the right combination, even if that part was boring. the combination he had made sense though, that would've made the snowboard board package $1,000.

Grand: She just picked the wrong grocery item. Too bad we won't know the other losing item (I though the lotion and the guard were the bad items).

That's Too Much: We have a Winner after a lengthy losing streak, now we need Cover UP to break its streak.

Great show today.

Wow, what's with all these good shows this week?

Range Game: Awesome win! Always fun to see Range Game won right at the edge! That said, the price was pretty much in the middle, which meant that most people would have won this setup... so nice of Paul to add a little extra flair, though.  :P

Switcheroo: A decent effort which ended with two prizes won, even if it's not a winning effort. I much prefer this to the wipeouts that plagued this game earlier in the season. And Drew did say this time that the SPs were there to help him figure out the car price...

Make Your Move: Yeah, the audience really saved him there.

Grand Game: Pretty tough setup (I think the chocolates were the other bad item), but Wendy just had to go and pick the one item I knew for sure she had to avoid. (And she'll probably be avoiding Gold Bond lotion from now on...)

That's Too Much!: Wait, someone actually figured out That's Three Much?

Also, remember that time last season when a contestant had stopped for a moment on the correct price in this game, but was convinced by the Peanut Gallery to go one more and lost? Well, Veronica sure wasn't going to listen to the Peanut Gallery today, and she was laughing all the way to the DMV.

Probably the thing that bothered me the most about SC2 was that they treated grilled cheese like some gourmet food item... (Granted, I don't like cheese, so I'm biased in that way...)

Edit: On a random note, every time this season TTM's been won, it's been played last. (It hasn't been won every time it's been last, of course...)

I was a bit confused in the Showcase with the fact that the Grilled Cheese Mobile has a logo on it that says "Powered by Nissan", but they gave away a Chevy truck...
