Hi Lo was evil again. Gas Money was its usual tricky self Any number shouldn't have been lost. And whoever played bonkers played terrible yet still won.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

Average. Bonkers was just weird though. Don't think I've ever seen a contestant that truly clueless before, and then she won. I don't know if Drew needs to emphasize more that all four paddles together make up the price, and you can't just pull it with one, or what. That was frustrating but then relieving when it was won. Other than that, this was very ho-hum. Any Number painful losses are so common this season though.

It was nice to see a pair of showcases today: 1) neither of which had two prizes; 2) both of which had a whole lot of nothing in them and were cheap! This way of saving budget affects viewing much less than setting pricing games up for forced losses. More of this from time to time, please. The SCs don't need to have a car every day, or even close to every day.

Timings:
Bonkers (4.5) - 3:11
Any Number (5) - 5:19
Eazy as 123 (4) - 4:40
Hi Lo (5) - 4:12
Gas Money (5.5) - 3:49
One Right Price (3.5) - 3:30
Total (27.5): 24:41

Bonkers:  Lucky win.
Any Number:  Better than the piggy bank.
Eazy Az 123:  Nice job! :-)
Gas Money:  Evil.

Not too bad overall, IMHO.

Wow... I don't care if Kendra got lucky and won Bonkers.  She was hands down the worst Bonkers player I have ever seen.

A limited edition Star Wars Xbox system:  The only Xbox that guarantees that you will never get laid.  (Whoops... I spoke too soon.  Robert exactaed the price, but he has obviously already gotten laid.)

My showcase bids:
Snowmobile--$20,107
Waverunner--$20,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Ugh...not only did Dimich wave that freakin' jib camera around during Hi Lo and Gas Money today, he even directed the first Showcase Showdown with it.  I cannot express strongly enough how annoying that stupid thing is.

Drew was wrong about Bonkers.  It wasn't hilarious; it was just bizarre.  It probably would have been funny with Bob handling it, though.

(Also, Drew, the Bonkers contestant putting that video in her resume would probably just show any potential employer that she's too stupid to be hired, so that's not really a good idea.)

Decidedly meh besides Bonkers, which was fairly amusing... was hoping for Bargain last.

Unless they did something really squirrelly, Barker's Bargain Bar doesn't even reenter the rotation until next Tuesday's show.  Seeing it this week or next week (which, remember, is really last week) is pretty unlikely.

I liked how the second showcase basically undid the first showcase as far as Rachel's wardrobe was concerned.

My reason for saying that was because today and tomorrow were taped just two weeks ago, where they could have well inserted Bargain if they wanted to. I agree seeing it next/last week, the 5920s, won't happen.

Bob would've had a look that said wtf and got really pissed off.

Yes, then he would've drop-kicked them out of the studio!!

I'm pretty sure he was just kidding. Anyone who takes him seriously on remarks such as that ... well, you're right, it might be a bad idea to show potential employers.

Hi everyone-
I'm a first-time poster, but I've lurked around for quite a while.  I teach math to college students, and today I used some youtube clips from TPIR to discuss probability with future elementary teachers.  We watched a clip of Bonkers from a couple of years ago (Drew hosted), and in both classes multiple students asked afterward if the contestant could have put up just one paddle at a time and hit the button.  I couldn't understand why they would ask something like that, and then I came home and saw today's show.  I couldn't believe that today's contestant misinterpreted the rules in the same way. I don't care for some of Drew's ambiguous explanations, but I really don't understand the problem with his Bonkers description.

Bonkers: Miraculous win. I had the winning setup pegged from the start; it was basically just going with the odds on all the digits. Still, she really lucked out there.

Eazy was eazy. Hi-Lo was hard, and 1RP was a total crapshoot; only about $600 difference in price between two trips means essentially "flip a coin".

Gas Money, for being a typical lowest-price setup, I thought it was easy; a non-loaded Sonic is going to be cheap. She didn't realize that, though.

I find it amusing that Leah exacta'd the last three digits of her Showcase. If only she had bid $3,000 less...
