Maurice was annoying, making an unnecessary $8999 bid on the watches and then one-upping nearly everyone. But I did love the audience reaction to that $8999 bid.

Pitiful directing today - sounded like actual audience dubbing.

Yet another tired, recently recycled lineup. Yet another tired crappy luck playing of Dice Game.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

What a painful Dice Game loss.

And about the $8,999 bid on the watches, I call it  :gotc:

Man, would it have been nice for Silvester to have been playing Dice Game for that $21,115 Mazda6 w/ the rolls & decisions that he got today.

Blah. Another pretty average 2/6 show, with an easy as can be game to prevent the skunk (in this case they oddly chose C/O) but it definitely worked, and the car and cash games lost in usual ways. At least, by not standing out in any annoying ways, this managed to be better than yesterday.

Oh, and what was up with that seemingly dubbed audience noise during that $8999 bid? No more of that, please. Let's spend more time instead on trying to make the Dice Game segment look like something better than, well, a total mess of editing.

Timings:
1/2 Off (5.5) - 5:01
Cover Up (5) - 4:04
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:38
Check-Out (5.5) - 5:22
Dice Game (4.5) - 5:08
Freeze Frame (4) - 3:27
Total (28): 25:40

For the love of God, go away, Daniel Goddard!

In the last few days, we had outrageously stupid bids of $9,000 and $12,000.  Here's an $8,999 to add to the pile.

Wow, how was 1 not the correct third digit in Cover Up?  I knew 2 was the correct fourth digit.  I think Mike is definitely on to us.

Sylvester had some great rolls in Dice Game.  It's just that pesky second 6 that ruined it for everybody.

My showcase bids:
Sea-Doo--$26,107
Car--$22,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Sheesh, Dice Game's being lost a lot this season on horrid luck.

Cover Up's back to the same ol'.

At this point, Daniel's become a male model; Drew didn't even bother mentioning that he's from Y&R.

I can't believe how much better this show was than yesterday's.  Drew hosted pretty well the whole way through, and he even had a rare moment of sincerity when Silvester spun 90˘ after that horribly disappointing Dice Game loss.

Maurice came off as a complete goof.  I'm glad he never got out of Contestants' Row.

The only bad part about this show was that it was edited to shreds.  There were a few spots where they had clearly taken stuff out.

And about the $8,999 bid on the watches, I call it  :gotc:

Well, to "Garf" is to massively underbid, so ya probably shouldn't.

Drew improved on his Cover Up explanation by pointing out that the contestant needs to get a number right "each round" to continue.

I'm not so sure Maurice didn't mean $89.99 as opposed to $8999 for the two watches (still not a particularly bright bid, BTW) - had that round been an "all overbid" round it would have been interesting to see the fallout.

It was hard not to see what happened in Dice Game coming after last week's evilness.  Too bad this time the evilness mattered.
So this is the "get off of my lawn" stage of my life.  I'm not impressed.
