Range: I wish Flavia had played that for a car instead- that was well done.

HO: Terrible.

Money: Should've been won IMO.

ORP: I would've lost.

LeU: One of the most impressive wins this seasons by far- how in the heck did Kymberly get that (I was as shocked as the powers that be)?!?!?!?

CU: TTM.

Showcases: No TW here has won a Showcase since 5/30.

That LeU playing definitely salvaged this episode.

Standard budget June show, with Range set up easy to lead off the day and nothing else really that simple. 1/2 really should be set up to at least give away one pair every time though. It was a pretty blah show, but got better at the end thanks to Check-Out showing up 6th (even though that was mangled) and the miracle Line 'em Up win, even if LEU itself took forever. I get a feeling sequences like what we saw in LEU today happen more frequently, but they're just edited out. I really wish Drew was a more proactive host, but we've seen that that's not going to change.

The one thing that did really annoy me about LEU though, even though it was won - is wondering if repeating numbers is going to be standard procedure for this game now. That is something that adds another layer of difficulty to the game that doesn't need to be there. I'm pretty sure Roger considered it "dirty" and I think Scott did too, seeing as it never happened with Scott but now the first 2 post-Scott setups have had it. Please stop - there are other ways to make the game hard (some of which they also tried today with that $798 prize) and as we saw today, you can't really force a loss in LEU anyway.

Timings:
Range Game (4) - 3:21
1/2 Off (5.5) - 4:37
Money Game (4.5) - 3:46
One Right Price (3.5) - 2:54
Line 'em Up (5.5) - 6:03
Check-Out (5.5) - 5:19
Total (28.5): 26:00

Not as good as yesterday, but at least a car was won.

THE BAD NEWS:

1/2 Off: Just set-up to be wiped out, mostly on Mike's part with the SPs. Unfortunate for Erik.

ORP: Too tricky with that one..........At least Mary won a Monte Carlo trip-case.

Check-Out: Once Jaclyn overpriced on the nail polish and baking soda (Well, mostly on the nail polish), I already knew it was over.

Money Game: Tough break for Irvin.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Range Game: Flavia cutting it a little too close on that one!

Line 'Em Up: Kymberly really did good on it........Thought the whole thing with her kissing Drew and George was quite funny. Siding with Kev347, I did noticed a bit of pattern regarding how the numbers were set up like that. I'm not too crazy with how it was set up, either and I hope it doesn't be a permanent thing.

Slightly below average, despite the Range and LEU wins today.

Did it seem like there was a giant crack in that 3d TV offered in One Right Price?

There seemed to be a glowing line right down the middle of it.

Exciting win on Range Game & surprising win on Line Em Up!  Not too good other than that, IMHO.

I don't understand how showcase 1 was only $23,458.  Was the trip really cheap or something? ???

So now we're playing Line just for evil repeating numbers... well, Mike got his just dessert for today (nutty contestants can help in that situation), but wow was that a nasty setup. Same with Half and C-O (although she played that badly as well).
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Ho-hum show today.

Range Game - slipped that win in by the skin of the teeth. She seemed like an excitable contestant, though, so happy she got the win.

1/2 Off - that was just rotten and it's not for lack of trying by the contestant, those prices were terrible.

Money Game - zzzzzz, nothing to see here. It gets frustrating to see contestants blow two chances on the obvious first two numbers. It was basically just a crapshoot on whether it was going to be 17, 18, or 19.

1 Right Price - that damned $3,000+ 3D TV costs us another win.

Line 'Em Up - have we come up with a Mike Richards-equivalent term for "Stopping the Dob" yet? That car price, much like the small prizes in 1/2 Off, was just terrible and being set-up for a loss. Glad she pulled the win out there.

Check-Out - yikes. That was a mess. I had wondered by this point in the show if they were going to play Pick-a-Pair considering they went to the Giant Price Tag for the intro... then I remembered they used a clip of Pick-a-Pair on the 3D TV in 1 Right Price - that would have been interesting to see a clip of a game to be played later in the show pop up in an earlier segment.

Nice to see two $1,000 bonuses in the showdowns today, but TWO two-prize showcases? ...the hell?

Hopefully a better show tomorrow.

...I have no idea how Line 'em Up was won. Never mind that that must have been a high-trim version as I was sure Scion xB's normally go for $17K, but she also got the repeating digits (that should never have existed in the first place) at the end...

That, combined with how great Kymberly herself was as a contestant, really made that segment great and helped bring up a show that could have very easily been rather bad (1/2 Off wipeout, Check-Out being mangled, only 2/6 show overall).

I was amused that even Drew didn't know what to make of Khaneshia bidding $1 under another contestant in OB3. Maybe she didn't hear the $1501 bid?
