My two cents:

Pay the Rent: Good thing he bailed out at the right time. Big mistake putting the Allegra in the 2nd floor. And he won a Jeep in his Showcase!
Side by Side: Good win.
Lucky Seven: Reasonable set up, but tough break, nonetheless (doesn't matter what car she was playing for).
Race Game: Great win! (doesn't matter if she lost a little time looking at the audience)
Pick a Number: Tough break.
Master Key: Good thing he got the BBQ and made it to the Showcase.

Showcases: I prefer the Price is Right Arsenal Showcase. No question.

As for the Pay the Rent solutions, there's at least 2 (correct me if I'm wrong):

Mailbox: Whitener = $8.80
1st Floor: Softener ($5.99) + Dip ($4.49) = $10.48
2nd Floor: Remover ($9.99) + Peppers ($2.99) = $12.98
Attic: Allergy relief = $13.99

Mailbox: Softener = $5.99
1st Floor: Peppers ($2.99) + Remover ($9.99) = $12.98
2nd Floor: Whitener ($8.80) + Dip ($4.49) = $13.29
Attic: Allergy relief = $13.99

2 wins, 2 losses, 2 partial wins (one of which is a bailout). Not a bad show today.

THE BAD NEWS:

Lucky $even: Bad enough Carrie didn't win the Fiat...........What's worse is that she was playing for a................Fiat. Not a good setup, either way.

Pick-A-Number: I bet you right now that guy with the glasses is ranting about this on YouTube shouting: "It was a freaking Honda!" That was a easy setup, since it wasn't a Harley she was playing for.

THE NOT-SO-BAD NEWS:

Master Key: Well, at least Dennis got a BBQ. Better than nothing.

Pay The Rent: Despite Jason cancelling CSS for today, he got a $10K bailout. And his SC with a Jeep.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Side-By-Side: Easy setup and win by Agnes!

Race Game: I got scared when Megan was starting off slow, but luckily, she got all of them right on the second...........Good thing we didn't have to endure a Kelly moment from last season.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

A fairly average start of the week...........Although, we're not doing too hot on car game wins thus far. Unless, they are doing something really big on Dream Car Week, because of that.

Mailbox: Softener = $5.99
1st Floor: Whitener ($8.80) + Dip ($4.49) = $9.29
2nd Floor: Remover ($9.99) + Peppers ($2.99) = $12.98
Attic: Allergy relief = $13.99
I think you might that one mixed up:

$5.99
$9.99 + $2.99 = $12.98
$8.80 + $4.49 = $13.29
$13.99*

Sorry about that.

*Never mind. Swing fixed that.

PhatBoi came up with another solution during our Skype call this morning:

Mailbox: Hair Remover Kit: $9.99
First floor: Onion Dip ($4.49) + Fabric Softener ($5.99): $10.48 (same as contestant had it)
Second floor: Peppers ($2.99) + Whitener ($8.80): $11.79
Attic: Allergy Medicine: $13.99

Pay the Rent: It was very obvious that today's contestant needed to bailout at S10000. It's really odd when you see the solution FieldsFan336 provided that putting the second most expensive item in the mailbox could have won the whole thing. Still $10000 is a good hall in the this game.

Side by Side: Setup forced win of a nice British Columbia trip.

Lucky $even: I consider the level of difficulty to be medium. It came down today's contestant needing to call a high number on the ones digit to win. Too Bad that Fiat wasn't won. It's vivid red looked quite nice.

Race Game: Glad to see today's contestant was wearing proper shoes. Gameplay wasn't the best but a win is win is a win. The fridge was a nice prize though the accessories aren't my thing.

Pick a Number: Should have been won. As long as it's not a Harley then avoid 9s in the thousands digit. The Honda did look pretty nice though.

Master Key: It's a shame neither the Mazda nor the laptop was won. At least the barbeque was aomething.

Showcases: The Jeep Wrangler showcase was the better showcase and it's great to see it win.

Contestants row prizes: Strong. The Xbox One. Samsung smartphone, and Lecia camera are great selections for contestants row prizes.  The Flexsteel chair was good too. And I like how the placed the luggage in the same segment as a pricing game played for a trip.

Lineup: Pretty good but have been very good. Side by Side is one of our best one prize games and is far better than the similar Double Prices and Coming or Going. Lucky $even is a strong game.  And Pay the Rent slots best as the lead off hitter because of it's combination of bang potential and letdown potential. The second half slotting could have been better. Race Game and Master Key are always fun and I don't mind Pick a Number. But the slotting should have been: Pick a Number fourth, Master Key fifth, and Race Game sixth. Because Master Key is a game with letdown potential (when no keys are won or nothing opens.), it should not be slotted sixth. Pick a Number is too dull to be a good closer. Race Game is a great closer as it's excitement would allow the show to end on a bang regardless of result. Plus, Pick a Number slots well fourth (though it's okay fifth.) and Master Key slots best fifth. Game selection was good today. Second half slotting could have been better.

Overall: With two wins, $10000 won on a bailout, a Jeep Wrangler showcase won, good prize offerings, and a pretty good lineup this a good show. Change the second half slotting in the way I suggested with the same gameplay results and I'd call this a very good show.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Another interesting one for Pay the Rent (based on it being mentioned in another post about putting the most expensive item in the mailbox) - that would have also gotten you to $10,000 today (not a win though or course), not sure if that would work other times?

$13.99 in Mailbox
$9.99 + $4.49 on 1st Floor = $14.48
$8.80 + $5.99 on 2nd Floor = $14.79

$8.80
$5.99 + $4.49 = $10.48
$9.99 + $2.99 = $12.98
$13.99

Overall, a ho-hum show, much like last week's episodes.

I completely blew You'll Never Win Pay the Rent.  I thought that the teeth whitener would be the most expensive product.

Dennis looks like the love child of David Ruprecht and Chris Andersen.

My showcase bids:
Jeep--$30,707
Boat--$25,707
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I had a feeling 7 was the right choice for Pick A Number.  Since the prize setup for Master Key has changed my 1st thought was they were going to be playing Rat Race instead.  I would've guessed the opposite price choices for the small prizes as I thought the kettle was $31 due to seeing some in years past that were $40+ although I don't exactly remember the size of them.  However I had a feeling $59 was right for the toaster oven.  Even if Dennis would've bid $26,000 like he originally thought of he still would've lost by $3.  That would've been extremely painful.

Another fix that needs to be made with their new lighting: that Pay the Rent sign reveal looked atrocious.
