I thought it was too early to start new thread for the 2021 season, and the context of this post would be off-topic from the 2020 NFL thread (plus it’s been idle soon after the Super Bowl). The NFL Off-Season, which includes Free Agency and the Draft in addition to what I mentioned about, has been must-see TV if not something you’d read up on within the Internet around the time Roger Goodell took over. They have come such a long way.
The NFL Draft is tonight (April 29, 2021) and Trevor Lawrence is expected to go first overall to Jacksonville. I think Zach Wilson is slated to be the next pick for New York, and then it’s anybody’s guess.

Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, and Julian Edelman are some of several people calling it quits. Former Rams QB (Jared Goff) and former Lions QB (Matthew Stafford), both first overall picks, swapped teams, and Carson Wentz left Philadelphia to fill in the void in Indianapolis left by Rivers’ retirement.
Finally, there will be 17 games starting this season. The post season is pushed back a week, which is a bit odd since there is a void between the third pre-season week and Week One. Usually the NFL doesn’t like to stay idle upon its start, which is the Hall Of Fame festivities
