Some changes and observations not listed on the Timeline that occurred on this episode:

* The star wipe animations that were introduced earlier in the season now spin, possibly as of this episode (originally listed on Season 17).
* The decimal point in 1.00 on the Big Wheel is still present, narrowing that from Season 15 to 16. It'd get removed sometime that month, no later than March 23's episode.

It's good to see a late 1980s episode surface.

Also, the Pricedown dollar signs were still present on the Big Wheel, come later in the month they'd be replaced with golden Super Ball!! dollar signs.

There was an electrical oddity in Temptation that caused the audience to believe that there was a zero in the price-- Bob even made an oblique comment about it-- and eventually, the contestant changed his bid to go along with them. In the end, they were wrong, although Manuel opted to go with the prizes, but I halfway expected him to be awarded a technical win there.  (However, he got more than one digit wrong, so he would have lost regardless of the glitch. On top of that, the price he went with was pretty low for 1988, even for an Escort Pony with only a radio.)

Rod's in his bright, but not sparkly suit era in this show!
