I'm sorry, OJ Simpson interrupting Price on the east coast? Is it 1994 again?
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

I didn't even know he was sick!

Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

Come to think of it, I think you're right-- I read a lot of things literally owing to my autism.

People who were not born yet in 1994 should not be making this joke. Let me get old in peace.

Hot Seat has really grown on me in the last year or so.

This is the hot take (haha...see what I did there? Oh dear).

I posted in another thread but will say again that Hot Seat has rapidly become one of my favorite games. It does everything right. Its foundation is on pricing knowledge and its so good at building tension and suspense (and Drew does a great job building it). Its absolutely my favorite Drew-era game and really creeping up on becoming one of my favorite games of all time.

At first glance, but then again, since the first digit was 1, and it's a Sentra (which I don't remember seeing below $20K in quite a long time), I would automatically assume 9 for the second digit.

The worst part about this game is the introduction where each level of the thermometer has a sound and Drew has to go through each level that could be won before the items are described. Boring!
