I loved Drew's "Sports Commentary" on the first to PGs.  When Ezra started jumping around and Drew came close to the camera and said we'll be back after the noon news, I thought that was hilarious!

For the first half that I saw, I thought this was a great show!

What a day for hotties! Madeline eventually overcomes the adversity of Shaun's obnoxious and unnecessary one-upping, and from there, it just got better and better. Nothing like a very rare Heels Semi-Memorial All-Hottie Showdown (screenshot) to make a show great. On top of that, Amber avenges Madeline by beating Shaun in the Showcase. Beautiful. :-D

HOTTIES: #260, Madeline; #261, Kristen; #262, Amber; #263, Raquel :-D
BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Ezra, a Contestant of the Season candidate
SHOW GRADE: 3

The only thing to really say about this was that Racey was lucky despite wearing sandals, and the car SPs were worthy of a few :headbang: s.

B
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I really liked the lineup today! For a quick game, Push Over is alright, although I'd rather something like Side by Side over Double Prices. But the middle four games - excellent! Four of my favorites! (And with Temptation yesterday, awesome!)

Pathfinder was strange. I'm surprised that Brandon didn't get ANY of the small prizes, since he seemed to do well with the car portion, and the price choices for the SPs were not very difficult. (Even without knowing the prices of the prizes, $17 and $31 look "uglier" than $10 and $50; the other price pair had a huge $30 gap.)

The Stack the Deck GPs, though, were not so easy. I would think that most people would choose the Fiber as being about $9 rather than the lotion, and the new mascara product could've very well been tagged as $7.50 (even though it was really twice that). I'm not too surprised it was lost, although many people here seem to think it's never surprising to have Stack the Deck lost.

Going back to Push Over, it wasn't a very easy setup there either. Three choices (including the right one) within about a $1000 range isn't all that friendly. Ezra was likeable (and his $91 million comment was funny), but if he was looking forward to a new bed, today was not his day.

Magic # did not have such a tough setup, but I always expect that to be lost. Maybe Amber's exhaustion led her to ignore the impulse to set the magic # to $1000. Either way, nice to see it won, even when there's such a huge range. (Now if only easy Coming or Going setups would get won...)

But yeah, we definitely need more lineups like this.

Definitely one of the greatest episodes this season!

IUFB #1: Sweetheart #1 - Madeline!  :-D, and Sweetheart #2 - Kristen!  :-D

Push Over: Tough setup here.

Race Game: Wow, great win for someone wearing sandals!

IUFB #3: Sweetheart #3 - Amber!  :-D

Pathfinder: I was hoping Brandon would win after finding out he's from Indianapolis, IN (I have a lot of relatives from there).

Magic # - Yay! Amber won!

Stack the Deck - Aw! I wanted Madeline to win the car.

IUFB #6 - Sweetheart #4 - Raquel!  :-D

Double Prices: Yay! Kristen won!

SCSD #2: Three sweethearts in this showdown? Pinch me, I must be dreaming!

Showcases: Yay! Amber won!

Push: Jeez!! Either way, I was duped.

Race: Sandals can pay off in many ways.  :-D Good job.

Pathfinder: After an impressive beginning, Poor Brandon was duped terribly by three KILLER SP's  So sad.

Magic #: Good job.

STD: It would've been nice to see another MIRACLE win like the previous playing.

Double: Very nice.

Showcases: Shaun's bid didn't even cover the car.

A 3-star show.

There was definitely somebody under the age of 18 in the VIP section in this taping. Anybody have any clue what that was about?

I'm guessing it might've been like a "Make a wish" type of thing... or maybe an employee's kid... or maybe just a really really young looking man.

Did anyone else notice, during the second showcase showdown, Drew asked Madeline if she wanted to say "Hi Lo" to anyone :oldlol:?  Ah, how I love random pricing game mentions!

How was Pathfinder lost?  I mean, I can see someone maybe losing, by guessing 9 for every number or something, but I can't believe Brandon missed all three small prizes!  Roger was being as nice as he could with those small prizes today, but to no avail.

Yay for Amber playing Magic Number well, and yay that she won!  And Drew, you know, considering how long everyone has to wait in what's often a very hot sun, I can't imagine anyone there is really able to be too fresh ;).

Ezra was fun!  I'm kinda' surprised drew didn't make any sort of "Better than Ezra" reference with him.  I'm also kinda' surprised it took someone this long to make a joke about the prize not being $91 million or such.  Or I guess he should've said $915 million, but who's counting?

Killer SPs?  I'm not sure how Roger could've made them easier without making the choices like "is the mop $10 or $173?"

Oh, please. Stop it. Stop it now. You and heels need to come back to Earth and discuss with the rest of us.

(Sorry, but this is starting to get real old.)

I just have to say something about Pathfinder, since that's the only part of the show I saw. Did anyone else hear Drew say "Your Awful" to Brandon? He tells it like it is.

Pushover:  I loved the $91 million joke that Ezra said!  :-)  $4491 just didn't look right.

Race Game:  Another person with sandals--and he won with an EXACTA.  I didn't think sandals were the right thing to wear, because you never know if you'll be playing a timed game.

Pathfinder:  I knew the mop was $10 from seeing it so many times.  Besides, it looked like a better price than $17.  Same thing for the keychain: $50 looked more like the right price than $31.  Too bad he missed all the three small prices.

Magic #: Good to see Amber set the magic number higher than what most people would normally set it as.  I was surprised at how large the range was, even though the range is usually widespread.

Stack the Deck: I thought the grocery products were hard.  I would've also got one right, and my guess for the price of the car would be $16,925, so it would've been more painful for me--all numbers right just some in the wrong order.

Double Prices:  I liked how Kristen said she would blame her sister(?) if she chose the wrong price.  :-)

SC1:  My Bid: $25,240 / Diff: $616
SC2:  My Bid: $16,255 / Diff: OVER by $174 :wsd:

Or he could have done it Coming-or-Going style..."is the mop $10 or $01?"

Pushy:  That was hard.  $4,491, $4,915, and $5,449 all looked reasonable.  I had $4,915.

Racey:  Yay!  Race Game! :P Sheesh, another contestant with sandals/flip-flops.  But luckily for him (and the rest of us), it was an easy setup.

Pathy:  Again?!  We just played this last Tuesday.  Brandon should've had this car in the bag after nailing the first two numbers.  There was no reason not to get the mop and the keychain camera right.

Magic #:  All right!  A contestant sets the number over $1,900!

Rig the Cards:  I was not expecting this game either.  We just played this last Monday.  Good effort by Madeline in trying to get the price with only one free number, but unless she had another number up there, there was just no way she was gonna get that price.

My showcase bids:
Car--$25,407
Random room/snowmobile--$18,507
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
