Drew really sucked at Master Key.  You couldn't say he hosted it, he just stood there as Scott was inserting the key into each lock, with no buildup at all when Scott was trying a different lock.

Another thing is that the stereo key should have been used first for more suspense.  When Scott ran off to see the new Honda Civic he won, Drew just inserted the key into the lock and turned it to reveal the "WIN" card and then tried to unlock the cutlery set.

All I saw today was Master Key, and I have to agree, Drew hosted that badly. It all just seemed very bizarre to me.

Drew really sucked at Master Key.

I say the same thing in chat today and get killed because I am "Drew-bashing".  I can't help that Drew did a horrible job.  He's hosted for almost two years now.  He should be getting the hang of it, but sadly is not.

Yeah... Drew handled Master Key abysmally.  Even for him, that was really, really bad.  He barely seemed like he was there at all, and didn't even pretend to care about the non-car prizes.  Actually, he hardly even pretended to care about the car, as well.

Joan was highly caffeinated and a lot of fun.  It's a shame she won so little.

-Lineup: Very strong.
-OWP: I saw that coming pretty easily. 8/10
-Squeezy: WTF were you thinking, Peanut Gallery? 7/10
-Gas: At least this wasn't wiped out, but we gotta get a stretched playing out of this. Was she really shocked it was relatively cheap? 8/10
-SD1: 5/5
-Pre-PG4: ...No comment. *shrug*
-NoT: Would you stop it Peanut Gallery... 9/10
-Switch: That was a complete crapshoot for me as well. 8/10
-Key: There we go! 10/10
-SD2: 4/5
-SC1: Not sure if a cruise went with food all that much... 4.5/5
-SC2: A CSS player's nightmare! :D 4.5/5
-Results: Wow, another close one. Both of those SCs looked less than they were worth, explaining the garfs... 9/10
-Drew: ...Yeah, that was a pretty good botch on Key. But how is supposed to know which key to put in first for more suspense? At least he showed us he got the stereo system. 7/10

PGs: 50/60
SDs: 9/10
SCs: 18/20
Drew: 7/10

84 --> B
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Gas Money:  I agree with you on your tip, Joe.
Now Or Then:  I can't believe the audience thought the bake & crisp coating was then! :headbang:  Those bottom 3 products were screaming "now", at least to me anyway.
Switch?:  I was thinking Joan should've switched 'em.
Master Key:  Nice win :-), but Drew could've done a lot better job hosting the part with the locks.
Showcases:  I could be wrong, but that seems pretty rare to have no boats, trailers, or cars in either one of the showcases.

An okay show overall, IMHO.

I feel like that's been happening more and more frequently lately in this season for some unknown cause.

"At least to me" is the key phrase there.  You're not thinking like an average viewer at all.  That was screaming Then.  I thought it was Then, even!

It was an o.k. show today. Master Key should have been hosted better, though.

Now Or Then: I "knew" this game was going to be played today, as this morning, I had a dream that I was playing out a scratch ticket, one of a series of scratch tickets about TPIR.  This "scratch ticket" had "Now Or Then" on it it was clearly this game.  I "won" $1,000 because I scratched off two THENs and 4 NOWs, so I knew this would be won on the real show.  Also note that today's show had 2 wins. (2 thens). Anyone else here sometimes dream about this show something specific about *today's* episode or next week's shows if dream was on a fri night/sunday day? and it becomes real?  Any stats on is the real game always 2 thens and 4 nows?

Gas Money: I thought the car was $22,385.  I was right.

GoldRoadFanatic wrote "Another thing is that the stereo key should have been used first for more suspense. "

But how would Drew or Scott know what either key was?  What do you mean?  That you just wish the stereo key was used first?

Don't they usually signal to Drew to use a certain key first to create the most suspenseful effect when it comes to the locks?

By that, I meant that they should have signaled to Drew to use the stereo's key first and then the car's for the most suspenseful reveal.

From what we saw on TV, it was impossible to tell which key was which after Drew grabbed the second one.  It's entirely possible that Drew didn't remember which key was which, as it kinda' looked like Drew wasn't sure which one to hand to Scott first.  Which actually would explain why Drew was so out of it after he realized he might have given Scott the wrong key to try first.

While Master key was hosted pretty poorly. There were no "new" cues used in the entire game, which was really nice. They've been using quite a few of the oldies lately, 2nd day in a row that "cue 19" has been used for a TV.

Let's start with the bad about today's show:

**The lineup in general--as fast as those first two games went, I thought we'd see something a bit longer than Gas Money (don't get me wrong I was glad to see it, but after having the first two games over by 8 past the hour, I thought for sure we'd see Temptation or hoping beyond hope 3 Strikes.
**The quickes--was there really a need to throw in Switch? As far as the rest of the games were concerned I didn't see anything in there that warranted having OWP, Squeeze and Switch? all played on the same show. It isn't like Gas, NoT, or Master Key take all that long.

Speaking of Switch? why was I not surprised that was lost?

**Drew's hosting during Master Key was just absolutely pathetic. I'm ashamed to even call that hosting.

Now the good
**Gas Money was played
** Master Key was played LAST 8-) 8-) That was awesome. Thank you, Adam for giving us awesome games last more often, and esp. throwing in some of the SP/car games last. Now let's see ya do that with Spelling Bee, Five Price Tags and Switcheroo.

That living room group for Now or Then musta been pretty "cheap" for them to have added that Motorcycle as a 2nd prize.

All i'll say about that 2nd showcase was that at least they threw in some men's designer clothing.
