Have $7,000 slips in Punch-a-Bunch, make one of the bags in It's in the Bag $7,000, make the Plinko center slot or one of the $1,000 slots $7,000?  That or have 7,000 of something to give away, similar to Wheel of Fortune's "25" space a few years back, where you could win 25 of some item.

Wonder what they mean by that? What games could incorporate 7,000?

What kind of question is that?  Any game that uses prices could involve the number 7,000.  Let's see:

3 Strikes
10 Chances
5 Price Tags
Any Number
Balance Game '06
Bonus Game
Check Game

...and the list goes on.

How do you do it in 3 Strikes, Ten Chances, or Any Number?  And how do you do it in Balance Game outside of having it on one of the bags?  And how do you do it in Bonus Game outside of having the bonus prize cost $7,000?

How do you do it in 3 Strikes, Ten Chances, or Any Number?

3 Strikes could easily have a car worth $x7,xxx
Ten Chances could easily have a middle prize worth something in the $7,000 range; it could also end with a car worth $x7,xxx.  Ditto for Any Number.

And how do you do it in Balance Game outside of having it on one of the bags?

The actual retail price of the prize in this game could fall someplace in the $7,000 range (or as you said, might also come about with that number on one of the bags).

And how do you do it in Bonus Game outside of having the bonus prize cost $7,000?

That's what I was thinking.

For most of the day, my guess is that "seven thousand" will appear in prices more often than usual (kind of like a running gag).  I'd almost bet money that $7,000 will be the correct retail price on the first IUFB of the day (hey, we've seen everything else these past two seasons, why not that?).  It's just a hunch, of course, but I'm also guessing that since Double Prices is confirmed as one of the games, there will be two four-digit choices, one beginning with a 7 and one beginning with some other number.  'tis my guess that whatever price starts with the 7 will be the correct one.

I'm almost afraid to envision the Showcases though.  I can just see them offering 7,000 of something (a "year's supply" more likely, that just happens to total 7,000) in showcase #1, and in showcase #2 ending with something "guaranteed to get 7,000 miles before needing an oil change."

That's quite a stretch to have a prize with 7 in the thousands place.  And they would never reduce Plinko's center slot to 7,000.  A chance to win $35,000 in cash!

I kinda expect Lucky Seven to be played, but perhaps that's too obvious.

Why do you say that?  Individual prizes might be tricky, but prize packages could pull it off easy.

And they would never reduce Plinko's center slot to 7,000.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this one.  But since they do have four SPs, I could easily see them setting it up to that the correct answer on the first one is a 7, on the second a 0, on the third a 0, and on the fourth a 0--or 7-0-0-0.

There's lots of ways to work in #7,000 on a normal show, it all just kinda depends on how sneaky (obvious?) you want to be with it.

I would wager they'll do some sort of Showcase with lots of 7's in the ARP. Wasn't it season 30 or something where one of the showcase's was something like $30,250?... Something sneaky like that.

Put a 70 and a 00 next to each other on the Money Game board?

Have the Rangefinder start at $7,000?  (Actually, I'd put money on that one.)

Also, guys, we already know they're playing Bonus Game, so Punch-A-Bunch and Plinko aren't all that likely.

Hole In One... or 7,000.   :pint:
Fun fact: Evelyn Wong, the 5th person to be called on the first show (9/4/72), was actually the very first contestant to directly be called to come on down!  The original first four (Sandy Flornor, Paul Levine, Connie Donnel, Myra Carter) were individually told to stand up, and then, as a group, were invited to come on down.

7,000 Strikes even!  :)
I think we can ALL agree that 7000 Strikes would be "tedious".  :)
They can be close at the top, too.

Why do you say that?  Individual prizes might be tricky, but prize packages could pull it off easy.

I don't really see how having a car with $x7,xxx as the price in 3 Strikes would make it all that special, or make anyone think "Hey, they must've done that for the 7,000th show," or even "Hey, that's remotely interesting."

Money Game I can see happening. Range Game I can see happening. The rest, eh...
