Early buzz appears to have them leaning towards Edwards as of now.  The big question would be what they'd ask for in return for Kolb when he's inevitably traded at week's end (cornerback or safety would be my best bet, provided they're smart enough to hold on to Stewart Bradley; otherwise, go linebacker, I say).

I'd like to see them get Rodgers-Cromartie and maybe a pick

They won't be holding on to Bradley, although I think getting rid of him is the smart move. Bradley in coverage is just absolutely terrible, and Cheney does a better job.

Hearing Arizona is interested in Bradley. Looks like the beast Cheney will be middle. Casey at outside maybe?

Oh, and yes, glad the trade finally went through. Hopefully DRC can get his game going again. If so, him and Samuel could make a very nice pair. (Although it would pale in comparison to Revis/Asomugha)

I'd still get a safety somewhere along the way, to compensate for Mikell moving on (although that probably was inevitable anyway) and as insurance in case Nate Allen isn't quite at 100% yet.  Adding Babin would appear to help the linebacking corps as well.  Should they also consider another tight end, or is Celek and Harbor a reasonable enough combo at this juncture, would you say?

Matthews reportedly played first team middle today, with Cheney at strongside and Fokou on weakside. Interesting...

I was very disappointed with Celek last year, but I think he'll come around. Don't forget about Cornelius Ingram, who is supposed to have a ton of potential.

Da Bears trade Greg Olson (basically their only bonafide receiving threat) to Carolina for a third-round pick.  Even though you'd think most teams would be thrilled to have a 6-5, 255-lb TE that can outrun linebackers with ease, Mike Martz apparently has zero use for such a guy in his 'system' (which, as best as I can tell, has always been 'pray Kurt Warner is your QB').

Not sure if they're in the market for a safety. Who knows, maybe Marlin Jackson comes back and starts as like a bridge to Jarrett, although the Eagles do like him, as do I. Kid can fly around and get to the ball. Babin was huge to fill a need at DE, at least for this year with Graham on the PUP list, and under Washburn, I think that whole Defensive Line can flourish. As for the TEs, Celek can only go up from last year, as he really wasn't even targeted a whole lot, but I think that changes this year. And I like Harbor as a backup, good hands, blocks well. I feel we are set there. Guy I'm looking forward to seeing is Noel Devine. Interesting to see what the Eagles do with all these small backs (McCoy, Lewis, Devine).

The whole coaching staff for the bears needs to go.

Hahaha, that was a good one Todd. Lord knows Al Davis would do anything to have Asomugha back, anything except take advice from other people. (JaMarcuss Russell!). ahem
