A perfect example of just how The Casey Anthony Show® has gone too far. The trial today was delayed to 1pm, but instead of showing regular programming, they re-aired the opening arguments.

Needless to say, today's episode will be delayed. I have other things to do tonight, and the episode won't be online in time to get it done today.

At the very least, the local networks don't seem to mind the gobs of money they're losing in advertising airing the trial nonstop.

I didn't see the point in having huge gift prizes in Temptation that the models could barely wheel out. Ending the car price in 9 also surprised me.

The WWE showcase wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. The Divas did a reasonably good job presenting IMO.
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

Lineup:

Temptation: L

Squeeze Play: W

One Wrong Price: W

Bullseye: L

That's too overly played Much: L

Secret X: L

Well, another disaster show, 2/6 again, 4/12 this week

Temptation was a big uproar. The Car price was $23879. Mike broke the rules. The 5 or 0 is suppose to be the last number. She did get the 9 right but got the fourth number wrong.

Squeeze and OWP were easy setups

Bullseye was heartbreak. The guy lost out by 10 cents on the first product.

Those WWE Divas were a waste of time. At least they were clothed

Up to this point, Mike had kept all hidden rules intact. But today, he broke one badly to try to force a full loss in Temptation (at least those giant bailout packages seem to have gone away). What sucked big time though, is that she lost on a different number, and one I thought she had right for sure, because 1 looked so wrong over 7 (I had $23,815). Instead Mike goes evil on the last digit, and it ends up being very crushing for me to watch.

I just checked and it was a 3-model day...but usually there's only two models in Temptation... it felt like some timing was off with stagehands there, I dunno. I care most about the total price, and even with the mini reminder of that terrible Shoecase, $5500 is a good one for a $24000 car.

Other than that, the show was pretty standard -

OWP was pretty easy... unusual.

Bullseye looked to be set up for a loss this time, but 6 cupcake packages?? That was kind of silly.

It's sad we're accustomed to TTM losses like this now (mentioning this in case this is the last playing, but probably one more coming), the game has ended up hovering around the same record as last year even with a large reduction of 2nd/9th. Guess 3rd/8th is still effective.

Even though it's annoying to see this type of X playing twice in a row, I like the way the game is being set up in budget mode.

And oh yeah... apparently Mike thought the WWE showcase (which I was very glad to see not make use of the ring prop, by the way) was a definite over with the often overpriced Equinox and a maybe 3-digit Summerslam. Can Mike just realize these tactics are not reliable, and set up the overall season better so he can afford stuff like this?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Sorry for the double post (too late to modify now), but I just wanted to say that DSWs have kinda lost their charm on me a bit... maybe too much of a good thing.

-Temptation was weird. First with those HUGE prizes on Rachel's side and then with a 9 at the end and she STILL got it. Too bad that 7 was there.
-Squeeze Play wasn't bad. This game is on a #Winning streak  8-O
-One Wrong Price was a bit of a toss-up. Glad it was won.
-Bullseye was painful. First he was 10 cents off, then he under priced a large box of cupcakes. *sigh*
-That's Too Much was itself. Moving on.
-Secret X with the X at the top? For the 2nd time in row? That's not even right.

ANOTHER  :dsw:! THAT IS A RECORD!

Showcase 1 had an aboslutely LUDICROUS price. That was truly unacceptable, I had trouble fathoming how those prizes could reach that price. However, her bid on Showcase 1 was also, unacceptable.

The Divas weren't bad, since the WWE has come down to reading a script. And a literal trip down the street? That's okay girls, you sold it the best you could. All in all the show was alright.

Really? DSW are the most exciting part of the showcases.

Temptation car ending in something other than 0 or 5?  Really?  As if this game isn't hard enough.  Too bad she was correct on the last digit as that would've been an awesome win.

Anyone else notice Manuela's reaction when she revealed the price in One Wrong Price?  At first she gave the "disappointed you lost face" but tried to cover it up when she realized what game they were playing.

I guess there's one positive thing to say... at least the WWE Divas were only in the Showcase (even better... they were in just one!), allowing us to have an otherwise normal show.

Oh, and another positive thing... the DSWs just keep on coming this season!

The trip to SummerSlam is probably the CHEAPEST trip the show has given away in some time...ringside seats to even WrestleMania aren't more than $2,000, so, the SummerSlam ones were probably around $1,500.

But, worse than that, the Staples Center isn't that far away from Television City. I wouldn't even classify that prize as a trip, really.

I just checked and it was a 3-model day...but usually there's only two models in Temptation... it felt like some timing was off with stagehands there, I dunno.

Carlos had uploaded a Temptation episode from the early 90's where Kathleen helped Dian with the larger prizes. And that's not the only example.. when the prizes were larger and more cumbersome 2 models brought them out. Amber should have helped Rachel with both prizes in Temptation... no excuse for that. Plus, it just made that whole part seem awkward. Even more so, Drew felt like he had to help her... which isn't his job. Not that he couldn't have, but it wouldn't have looked any better.
