OBIT: Whitney Houston
« on: February 11, 2012, 08:08:15 PM »
I just saw a breaking headline on the CBC website that Whitney Houston's publicist has said she has passed away at the age of 48.
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

I just saw ABC News break in during the "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown" special to announce this (the ABC newscaster even said to parents watching the special with any little kids to get them out of the room for a brief moment). Anyway, 48's just too young to die. I really feel bad for Whitney and her family and friends. R.I.P., Whitney.

Now it's being denied:

That article is dated September 13. I don't think anyone's denying it.

Rest in peace, Whitney. You were an R&B icon.

Publicist confirmed, she's gone at age 48. Sucks to happen on the night of the eve before the Grammies.

RIP Whitney, we're going to miss you.

A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

SHOCKED. That's all I can say. I know she had her problems and that probably took years off her life, but this was still way too young.

This is big. This is real big. And on the eve of the Grammy's, the entire mood of the night has completely changed.
