CSS Results for 01/02/2014 (Game 63)

$4.

Someone was just $4 away from the first Exacta of the season.

You know what's better than $4?

$2!

Man, we're really teasing those Exactas. Getting really close...and just not doing it.

To add insult to injury, both of those were overbids.

Four people WSD'd today. Two did DSW, however. GoldenBulldog starts his year off right with a DSW on the Chrysler 200 convertible while Kev347 gets the DSW on the random trips. Each claims $55,135 in cash for themselves. namnhu12 had two very solid bids and an overall difference in three-digits...but none were a DSW, so he's forced to settle for third. You'll get there soon, bud. :)

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

My PM from today....

$34,256/$21,350

I WILL NOT GO OVER ON 2
I WILL NOT GO OVER ON 2
I WILL NOT GO OVER ON 2
I WILL NOT GO OVER ON 2
I MIGHT GO OVER ON 1
I WILL NOT GO OVER ON 2

At least I accomplished that goal? :/

Yikes. I was thinking SC2 was going to be as expensive as the first showcase, considering today was a special. That Mediterranean cruise totally stumped me.  8-O

$1100.

Just $1100 more on SC2 and I would've had my second Q of the season, BUT...in this instance, I felt as if it was better to stay conservative instead of getting cute and risking an overbid.  I'll still take it though. :-D

Well, that's what happens when you 100-up stagey.  :)
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

To be fair, $20,600 would've been my first choice of bids on SC2 anyway.  The other option was to add said $1100 and potentially risk heelsing (or WSD'ing) the damn thing.  It just shows that I'm willing to stick to my gut instead of getting cutesy with my bids like I used to do.
