No worries. I love the setup of a Game 7 at the RBC Center for the Cup. It wouldn't have been the same if we had won the cup on the road. I think it'll be a thriller, but we'll take the Cup.

Finally, the epitome of euphoria and triumph is upon us.  It can't get any, possibly any, more exciting than this.  The game may be not be played here, but that doesn't matter.  The Oil have the momentum, they have the skills, they have the burning in their hearts, and we will win the Stanley Cup!

We believe!  We have the faith!  We can make miracles on ice!  Bring in on, for the final time.  Let this be the most exhilerating battle of all.

I only caught bits and piece of last night's extravaganza, was it the stick busting fiasco of the previous game?

Gotta be one of the best tournies in history, oilers down 3-0 and about to throw in the towel, and come back with 3 straight wins. Ya know, even though I'm American, I gotta put my 1 dollar on the Oilers. THE COMEBACK KIDS!

Alright! Even though I'm a diehard Sabres fan, I'm rooting for the Oilers to take it all on Monday night. The Hurricanes have been messing in Oil Country!

Actually, it was a 3-1 lead, and they won two straight.

GAME 7! GAME 7! GAME 7!

Sorry. I must calm myself down. I've been waiting all season for something like this. This rocks.

It's easy for you to want a Game 7 since your team isn't involved. If you were in my situation, I'm not sure you'd be as excited as you are right now. ;-)

Interestingly enough, this is the third straight Stanley Cup Finals to go the distance. The last time the Finals didn't go seven games... well, you know. Hopefully that bad memory will be erased in just 22 hours.

2-0 Carolina after two. Hopefully, the Oilers can mount a huge comeback in the third.

CV, be very proud of your team.  They fought back very valiantly in the Finals.

Carolina fans, Congrats.  One small thing; keep the Cup in good shape for us, since next season we're holding the victory parade in South Beach.

Sincerely, the Florida Panthers

Wow. Who would've ever thought that the first professional sports team in North Carolina to win a championship would be a hockey team? Amazing. Thank you, Hurricanes. I'm certainly a hockey fan now. Not die-hard, but it's definitely not a sport on my hate list anymore. This is so awesome. :-D

Congratulations to the Carolina Hurricanes!  2006 Stanley Cup champions!  All those verterans playing for years without a Stanley Cup on Carolina deserved it.

Cam Ward was unbelieveable.  I wish Detroit had him.  He deserved the Conn Symthe trophy.

Well, Carolina won! Congratulations to you guys, you fought hard and you deserve it.

Is it just me, or was this playoff a goalie affair? First Roloson makes miracles for the Oilers, then there is Cam Ward who came out of nowhere to keep Carolina in the run. And when Roloson got injured, that pretty much sealed the faith.

But hey, still, the 'Canes worked hard, and they deserve it! Enjoy it! And keep it nice and shiny : It's coming back home to Montreal next year!! ;)
