Just what I thought about always in Price in 2017 - a super sexed up Around the World in a crapshoot 50/50 game.

This show is still an absolute joke sometimes.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Although this show followed the pattern of recent previous year-end shows, I would not have called it the "Best of 2017". It just didn't feel that way to me. Yes, Gridlock! was introduced this year, but why play it for a $17K Hyundai in a "Best of" episode? Also (and I know it's a popular game) I would not have included Plinko, especially with the usual slot values, because of the likelihood of just what happened today: a small amount of money being won.

Pick A Number should not have been lost.

As a LFAT of Price, I will miss the old Bullseye board, price cards, and bullseye card. But the new setup does look very modern and cool. I think the arrows/markers are a bit too big, but the touchscreen is quite nice. I like it.

I wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, and Safe New Year.

I agree, but perhaps they did that because the first two digits coincided with the last two of the year they were celebrating

Double Prices was screaming the lower price. They obviously wanted that to be the big win of the show. Granted, Yoseph had no clue how to spin the wheel either, so I had little sympathy for him.

Same for Pick-a-Number... a little thought and common sense would figured the 4 was totally the wrong choice.

As for Plinko, I automatically just give up when they drop the chips off to the sides....

I'm really tired of this being the reaction whenever I legitimately point out an asinine thing the show does.

Here’s what I would’ve done:
- plinko would be played for $100,000
- Gridlock! would be played for a more expensive car. Not a $100,000 Lexus (like during Dream Car Week), but like the Range Rover

What a lackluster show. One game won outright, along with an overly-sexed-up Double Prices loss, an easy Pick-A-Number setup blown, and a underwhelming Plinko made this Best of 2017 show forgettable.

I like the new Bullseye touchscreens (similar to the mini-curtains on LMAD), however for the numbers they need to make them white again.

Yeah, Double Prices for that huge trip wasn't exactly the best way to start the show. And then it had to be followed by a very disappointing Plinko playing.

Bullseye's new set definitely looks very nice. It wasn't a totally radical change, but enough to make it more sleek and modern.

Tough choice between $48 and $46,xxx in One Away. The best case scenerio would've been to just have 1 number right to start.

I'm really tired of this being the reaction whenever I legitimately point out an asinine thing the show does.
Because you say the same thing, each and every time.  "The show sucks because of reasons."  "This show is a total joke"  "The show is so stupid."

If you have such a reaction to it all the time, why put yourself through the agony?

...because he still enjoys watching the show?

If you have a problem with the way Wayo chooses to conduct himself, Ignore him. The feature still exists. Use it! He's not breaking any rules...he's allowed to have an opinion, even if you disagree with it.

BTW, playing Double Prices- a one-prize game- for three overpriced trips is pretty dumb...especially when the car offered two games later is only half of the combined value of the three overpriced trips.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Is this the most expensive Double Prices ever?

Have they ever did three-trip Most Expensive "around the world" or all originate from LAX?
They can be close at the top, too.

I have no idea what show some of you were watching.   I thought it was great.    Huge prizes, Plinko, $10,000 wheel spin, Ab Man, Bullseye refurbished....   What more did you want?      When they have huge prizes, they likely never set up for a perfect show.   You know there is going to be quickie games when the start of the show is showing highlights.

Double Prices for $35k prize - Nice
Ab Man !! -- Only thing missing was Dr. Trombone making an appearance on the Loss.
Plinko was a bummer, but it isn't like we only saw 1 chip dropped.

Bullseye - Love the Arrow versus the poker chip.   I love the new look.   Only minor thing as mentioned before, the 2 4 6 8 10 12 might look better white.
I'm TheBigAK...and I APPROVE this post.
