How do they determine which shows to air?
« on: July 09, 2007, 01:47:36 PM »
I looked at the schedule on CBS and they really jump around.  Today's show originally aired on 10/25 and tomarrow's originally aired on 4/9.  Is there a rhyme/reason to picking shows from random days rather than just going in order from show #1 from the beginning of season 35?

I noticed this earlier, myself...the show numbers and airdates listed for the days right around now don't match up.  We'll just have to wait and see what actually gets broadcast.

For all I know, they throw darts at a dartboard or draw lots. There's no real sense of direction here, though I wish they'd keep it 100% sequential.

I hear they consult with this guy named "Jack", and they play what he wants.

(BTW: Tomorrow's show (July 10) was supposed to be the Jan. 2 show but was postponed by the Ford Funeral et al.)

I always just figured that they just picked random episodes to get them through the summer.
