When prizes that only previously appeared in primetime show up during daytime showcases, you know there is chaos abound. Today, in SC1, the Honma his and hers sets of golf clubs that were $9,500 from the Dec. 4 at Night special made an appearance, depressing quite a few scores. Add on a 26.5k Mazda3 and a $2600 or so CycleBoard seen from spring break, and SC1 comes close to sniffing 40k, but not quite, much to the host's (Wayoshi) chagrin. Beef ends up cashing here.
Two was the ever-dreaded FRaTs which had trips to Chicago (five or six grand, maybe?), Seville, Spain (more than likely five digits), and the uber-expensive Park Hotel in Tokyo (which we know puts it over 15k). Nam was the better of two DSWs (sorry Kourtney) for cash and the overall win here.

The player is shown two prizes, and the player must then write the check for an amount that is higher than the prize on the left, but lower than the prize on the right. If the player is correct, they win both prizes, plus whatever amount is on the check.
If this sounds like another magical game with a special number, it was fully intentional.

I would too, but only if the player got to eliminate one of the 4 numbers. Not a big fan of difficult pricing games that don't offer cash or an automobile

For the latter, you'd have to pick 4 numbers, none of which being the front or the back of the car. If you did, the game is over and the player loses. However, he or she keeps whatever was won prior to filling up the money side. After filling up the money side, you have to choose one of the three remaining numbers that were part of the price of the car. If you pick one, you'd win $5000 & a chance to walk away. With two, it's $10,000, and if you picked all three, you'd win $15K (or 20K/25K) AND the car.
During the bailout segment, if you were wrong, you lose everything and the game ends. BTW, the car has to be a luxury vehicle.
I know that's stealing or borrowing from Gas Money, but if the above actually happened someday, I wouldn't have an issue with it.

Some of them aren't inherently bad ideas (e.g., six-digit 3 Strikes, as long as there are no repeating digits). Some, I would say, are (e.g., Any Number with a piggy bank worth more than the car on offer).
One I thought of years ago I'd like to see tried is Make Your Move with two two-digit prizes and a five-digit car. You could come up with a setup that works, and considering two three-digit prizes have been used in the game's history, we know those coloured sliders can be swapped out.
What are some other one-off ideas you'd like to see tried for pricing games?
