Quick question

Does anyone know when the first show will air following Bob's retirement announcement? I assume it would have been taped either yesterday or today if indeed this is a taping week.

The show being taped today will be aired January 5, according to the schedule.

In addition to that, the last week of shows before Christmas have not been taped as of yet.  So those would be the first aired shows since the announcement.

Just FYI, when the announcement was made public yesterday (10/31/06) the audience was never informed either via media or by Bob, so the first show with an audience who knew Bob was retiring would be the one taped today.

The last week of shows prior to Christmas has been taped...last week as a matter of fact.  This week has been the first shows of 2007.  Christmas hits 33 next week.
