The trouble with Drew calling something "cool" means that it will probably not be cool.

Ah, but he called it "unbelievably" cool. Guess they're getting a new emcee after all, if you take the word "unbelievably" literally.

We know Roger isn't coming back, nor is Mark Goodson.

You know what might be "unbelievably cool" to a Libertarian like Drew? "Tax-free" prizes.

I'm no expert on tax law, but I do remember back when Millionaire was on in prime-time, they had a week where H&R Block paid for the taxes on winnings, on behalf of the contestant. Of course, that would drain the budget even further, unless they were to get a sponsor.

But, my money is on the contestant search. To a lot of people outside of this message board, that would indeed be an unbelievably cool change.

I'm up for giving whatever this change may be a chance. It can only do two things: work well or suck.

I've got to admit, "tax-free" would be pretty dang cool.  Too bad it really wouldn't change anything for the at-home viewer at all.

(Then again, this *is* a guy who thinks his soccer team is 'cool'...)

Oh, the team is very cool.

The free hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, peanuts and sody pop you get with your $30 ticket in the north end of the Qwest  - Way cool.

Blowing a two goal lead and giving up an "Own Goal" on Wednesday (practically in front of ME - I was in Section 146, five rows up from the end line) - Definitely not cool.

Anyone see his Twitter equivalent to Facebook's "profile picture"?

From this, I can tell the picture was taken on a DSi.  Why?  The distortion of the picture leads me to believe he used the "Distortion" lens on the DSi's camera.

I have another idea, if only a half hour $1,000,000 Pyramid makes it for fall to replace GL and nothing else does: expand TPIR to 90 minutes. 8 PGs a show, 4 contestants per SCSD, and make the SCs a little more expensive.

A Mac's Photo Book software has similar distortion options as well.  He could have just as easily used a MacBook.

I'd rather keep it at an hour. No daily game show has ever regularly been 90 minutes long.

Yeah, I think I'll take 60 minute Price over 90 minute Price, thank you.

They're having enough trouble keeping viewers for the entire hour, you want them to try and hang in there for a whole 90?

I don't really want that to happen, I just thought it could be a possibility if they can't get something besides Pyramid (which seems to be meant for a half hour time slot) to fill up the vacancy this fall. I'd prefer 60 minute TPIR, myself.

And where would you put a 90-minute 'Price,' considering it airs at 11:00am in between local syndicated programming from 10-11 and the local noon news in parts of the country?
