The Lions carve the Eagles 45-14. First place up for grabs in the Giants-Redskins game Sunday.

Well, that didn't take long. Romo throws a pick-six less than a minute into their tilt against Carolina.

23-3 Carolina at the half. Romo has three picks now, one for another TD and the second two to Luke Kuechly.

And Romo is out again having reinjured his collarbone.

Which all in all means this season will be at least a minimal success for we in Philly regardless of what our final record is, knowing that we probably broke Dallas for good this year when we knocked him out back in Week 2, which for we can be as good as winning it all.  Of course, we can still take note we can still win the division if we remain calm and get the right breaks going forward; it'll be challenging, certainly--perhaps VERY challenging--but it still can be done at this point, so no matter how bleak the fan base feels at present, it's still not yet time to abandon ship, not until Week 16 at earlier, really, since it's really only the last two games of the year that really matter at this point.

The Packers have now lost to the Lions and Bears at home this season. They also ceded the NFC North to the Vikings.

Minnesota at Atlanta this Sunday: Falcons are giving 2-1/2 at home, and both teams are coming off losses. Atlanta's certainly can have been prevented but they make more vanilla than McCormick once they take a substantial lead and they lose the game. Matt Ryan's accuracy has been in question of late, and Roddy White is still odd man out. Taking the Vikings here.

Called it. Matt Ryan has absolutely no rhythm under Dan Quinn's system and Devonta Freeman was sorely missed.

Yep.  Minnesota goes to 8-3 and reclaims the top of the NFC North standings.  At this point, the Vikings could choke the rest of the way and still conceivably get a Wild Card with an 8-8 record.  Nobody else in the NFC seems to be trying to get into that position.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Well, it's Kyle Shanahan's system, but I get what you're saying.

And would you believe that Seattle has moved up to the 6-seed!  The defense neutralized Big Ben's 456-yard performance with a total of FOUR interceptions--one each for Sherman, Chancellor, Lane, and Rubin.  Russell Wilson threw for a career high five TDs to knock off the Steelers, 39-30.

I guess one NFC team wants to fight for a Wild Card after all...

Revenge is sweet.  I'm so glad that Seattle beat those darn Steelers, and oh what a game it was (should've been on Sunday Night Football).  Go Hawks!

In all likelihood, CBS probably protected this game. And by the time the Broncos QB situation became a bit clearer, it was too late to flex in another game, anyway.

Just when you thought Seattle was getting it together, Jimmy Graham tears his patellar tendon and is done for the year.

It sucks for Graham, but to be fair, he wasn't exactly a major factor in that offense. He had only scored two touchdowns all season and hadn't found the end zone since Week 3. They should be okay with Luke Willson at tight end.
