It's been a long period for me, and I'm trying to cope the best I can.  I missed yesterday's great show, so let's see if today could be just as good...

Make your Move: Nasty setup

Let 'em Roll: Nice win there!

Safe Crackers: Another crap-shoot, at least we got a win here!

One Right Price: see Safe Crackers

Cover Up: see Make your Move

Sc's: Not the same great bids we've been seeing this week, but the one with the sailboat was a bit deceptive in price...

Have a great weekend!

Bidding Round #1- #197, Charlie! :-D

Safe Crackers- Brandi and Phire in swimsuits... at the same time?! Nice! I'm thinking djsquare will like that. ;-)

Showcases- We got to see Brandi in two swimsuits today... how lucky is that?

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY- Tyler.

SHOW SUMMARY AND GRADE- Decent show... Grade: 2

Make Your Move: I thought he was going to totally blow it when he was going to say $7K+ or $9K+ for the trip, but eventually said $3,795 for the trip. I thought for sure he had won then. Darn.

Let Em' Roll: What a nice win for Gregory's mom, who is celebrating a birthday!

Safe Crackers: Easy. I knew the sunscreen was $450.

One Right Price: Easy.

Secret X: Finally, this game shows up, and is won!

Cover Up: This game, plus the same Cobalt from Monday, equals FORCED LOSS.

Showcases: On this budget show, the sailboat showcase was definitely not intended to be won today.

Overall: An understandably boring show today after a big show yesterday. Even if the other two games have been won for another perfect show, the show still wouldn't have been too good.

Make Your Move - I dont think this was meant to be won. i wouldve never said $4093 for the trip.

Let 'em Roll - that was a great win. I was a fraid he was going to just leave with some cash but I was wrong.

Safecrackers - I dint like the way they did the camera shots there. Easy win.

One right Price - The table did not look like nearly $3000.

Secret X - Nice win.

Cover Up - Tough luck. I would have never guessed that price.

Showcases - It was either a really FRB or a FRR (Friggin random ring).

My Bids: $26,250/whoreallycareshowmuchigarfed | $16,000/$1,392

Grade: 7/10

Make Your Move: I agreed with Arturo's choice there. Boy that set up was quite evil. I know some people might disagree with me on this.

Let Em' Roll: Took all 3 rolls but Gregory got the car.

Safe Crackers: A pretty good win there. I wish I could say the same for the camera work.

SS #1: I wanted Tyler to win.

One Right Price: I said the bed would be $2849.

Secret X: Glad this game is back. Not only that it was won.

Cover Up: I knew that 2 was the third digit there. What a shame.

Showcases: If you think bidding on that trailer was bad try a boat.

They mentioned about the shirt that Brian was wearing which had a pic of Bob there. To my disappointment they didn't mention the fact that Bob was a panelist on Match Game at that time.

The Make Your Move bit was funny.  "You broke our prop!"

We get to see more of the Race Game Curtain! (This was before the post in Talk that has the whole thing)

Bart messed up that reveal of Safe Crackers up really really really bad.

I agree with both of you.....screencapped for your pleasure. :)

Nice to see "X" back.
They can be close at the top, too.

I'm sorry, but whomever gave this episode five stars needs their head examined. This was a three at best.

And if the rest of you aren't rating these shows using the drop down menu at the top of this page, Start Now!!! That includes you, Heels, and you, Adam (BTW: drop the halves when you do)! It's a community thing.

Three notable things about this show and really pertaining to this week: 1) Secret X finally showed back up after its mega mini retirement. 2) Double Prices takes another week off-YAY!!!!!!! This means the last two weeks of first run shows has had no Double Prices. When's the last time Double Prices took back to back weeks off? 3) Plinko finally got a week off as well. Just some nuggets I observed, nothing special really.

Wow, I don't know what I'm more surprised about.  The fact that Secret "X" returned, or that Double Prices went yet another week without getting played.

There's no other way to say it.  The directing for Safe Crackers's reveal today was easily the most atrocious directing I've ever seen.  I don't know what the heck caused Bart to take such a bizzare arrangement of shots, but whatever the case, it looked awful.

Wow...that's how many shows in a row now without a ticket plug?  It can't possibly have been time constraints every time.  Why have there been no ticket plugs?  There are still tickets, right?
Roger Dobkowitz's Seven Commandments of The Price Is Right:
1. Tape and edit the show as if it were live.
2. Never tell the contestant what to do.
3. Size matters. (The bigger the prize, the better the prize and the bigger the reaction.)
4. All prizes are good.
5. Never do anything on the show that would embarrass a parent with a kid watching.
6. Never put on a prize that would make the show look cheap.
7. It’s the game, stupid! (It’s about the game.)

PG #1:  MYM again?!  I smell FPG disaster already.  Not to mention that was one hard setup.

PG #3:  That was some God-awful camera work.

PG #4:  1RP again?!  And on the same show as Safe?!

PG #5:  Ugh... Secret X returns.  That pretty much guarantees the impossible.  I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but Double Prices has gone a second straight full week without being played.  And we're also gonna go an entire show without any one-prize game.  Total CSTD Friday!

PG #6:  Evil price.  I never would've guessed that all of the numbers would be less than 5.

My showcase bids:
FRSBS--$33,894
Random room/snowmobile--$15,615
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Yes it can. If you get the CBS feed notice how many 30-second show plugs CBS runs right after the first Showdown - THREE!!!!

Oh, for the days when only one was sufficient!

Make Your Move-The moment I saw that video camera, I knew it was $79.  After that, the candlesticks and trip would have only 1 possible place to put them.

One-Bid #2-At first, I thought those numbers on the left side of the screen belonged to a game, but I realized it had to be the new Race Game Curtain.

Let 'em Roll-Wow, the GP portion probably can't get any easier.  And a nice win on his last roll.

Safe Crackers-Wow, the reveal of this was very sloppy.  Bad camerawork.  But a nice win.

SCSD #1-No ticket plug again???  Dang.

1 Right Price-I thought the bed would be the right price.

Secret "X"-FINALLY, IT'S BACK!!  I guess Roger wanted it won on its day back by putting the X in the middle, and it resulted in a win.

Cover Up-Awww, that's a shame he didn't get any more numbers right after he got the 1st 2 right.

SCSD #2-A wheelie!  :-D  And also, $1000 winner, a near $1000 tie, and a near $5000 bonus spin award.  Close calls today.

Wow, a 2nd week without Double Prices, and now, a week without Plinko!  And 3 days in a row with rare SP games!
All Hail Sinfonia!

I don't know, but I'm (pleasantly) surprised nobody's started a "Has DP been retired?" thread (yet...)
So this is the "get off of my lawn" stage of my life.  I'm not impressed.
